DMT: lightning conditions?

I heard from some people that DMT visuals aren't as rich and colorful in a dark room. I'd like to breakthrough tonight (coincidentally "Enter the Void" airs tonight where I live)

So what would be the ideal lightning conditions for a breakthrough?

At night with the lights on? with just the TV on? Or during the day with curtain closed?

Also, is it better with music or without?

during the day, or at night with lights and tv on..... its worth having music on..... although none of these things matter when you fully breakthrough. you wont be aware of music or lights or anything anymore

In my room i have always had red lights with some pretty random lighting going along with it

Through i would have some sort of decent lighting, i have seen people on occasions turn lights of or dim them and have been uncomfortable just a tad (make sure you are in a comfortable atmosphere, that your happy with)

And i would say without music (music is distracting as well as the t.v for me) but that's my own personal preference. i know a lot of bluelighters would recommend some genre or artist like shpongle or grateful dead, depending on choice of music.

EDIT: also ''Enter The Void'' is great psychedelic movie, they do milk it on the visual side of things, but still quality film to watch high or not

During the day with outside light coming through window slights providing the only source of light.

If it is night and you are indoors, I'd suggest black lights and/or colored lights. (Bright colors swirlng together around a dark room is awesome) Also, I like having no noises like tv or music on DMT trips. If it is day, why not go out and find a shady spot with the sun not in your eyes. For me thats an awesome spot.

UPDATE: Well, that was an epic fail!

Couldn't breakthrough, only got to the point where it's like a strong shroom trip.
I used the sandwitch-in-a-bong method. (don't trust those lightbulbs)

I'm a bit frustrated: the guy I bought it from wants to lay low for a while, I'm unlikely to see DMT again anytime soon...

I'm tempted to look into extraction. Is it feasible at all if the last time you studied any chemistry was the first year of high school?

A chillum with wire mesh in top ofit is what i use, It's so simple and cheap! yet effective (before this through i used bong's, small weed pipes etc) i did get a good effect but i always use a chillum now, maybe try that if you get the chance, there not expensive at all.

I would advice anyone who enjoys dmt and has a decent workspace with awareness of health and safety to extract themselves rather than buying it on the street (obviously some are not in a position to do this what with living situation or lack of money and patience...)

If you only want to do a simple dmt tek, not much advanced chemistry experience is needed. Start with a STB (straight to base tek) op! they are really easy and interesting to watch the process
