DMT in a gravity bong?

Never smoked DMT before, plan on doing my first extract this weekend. After reading various guides and what not about how to smoke freebase DMT, it seems like a gravity bong would be easiest. I can take fairly large hits, I can control the flame so I don't torch the DMT (I plan on making a weed-DMT-weed sandwich), and most of my gravity bong experiences have been fairly smooth, so I plan on trying to clear the entire bowl in one go (plan on starting off with 30mg DMT).

I've read that I should hold my hit in for about 10 seconds, and I need to hover the flame above the bowl so I don't torch my DMT.

Anything else I should be aware of? Has anyone had an experience smoking DMT with a gravity bong?

Is there an easy way to make changa? All I have is powdered MHRB, marijuana, and freebase NN-DMT.

Gbongs work great for the deems, start off with double the amount though you won't regret it.
