DMT headache?

Hello, i smoked dmt the night before last and had a great experience but right when i came down i literally felt a headache form. I figured ok it will be gone when i wake up. Nope. So 2 days later its still here in the front right side of my head, not nearly as bad ill admit but still unpleasant. Anyone know a remedy or had a similar experience? I took some vitamin supplements before this post hopefully that will work.

Though not exactly similar I get headaches from LSD from time to time, once I had one which lasted a week after a high dose trip. I put these headaches down to being quite mentally stressed out (not neccessarily in a bad way) just that my brain had been overworked, something which i'd imagine is quite easily done with DMT. Getting plenty of sleep, avoiding bright lights and drinking alot of water (I try to avoid caffiene aswell) usually helps me. If it's perticularly nagging a sedative will work well in my opinion too. Alcohol usually curtails my psychedelic headaches though im fortunate as I don't get hangovers from alcohol so I probably wouldn't recommend it if you do. This is of course if your getting a similar headache to the one I've had (kind of dull ache, not exactly pain and find it difficult to concentrate)

Hmmm mine is the same and i noticed that ambien took it away completely last night but the headache reoccurred in the morning :( Its reassuring to know that others have gotten long lasting headaches from hallucinogens though, I thank you sir :)

DMT's the only psych i've gotten a headache from that I felt was definitely linked to usage of the substance. As soon as I've come down on more than one occasion, while on only DMT I've gotten a headache. It wasn't terribly intense or long lasting, but odd nonetheless. I suspect its akin to rebound headaches migraine sufferers get when triptan class drugs wear off. Those are 4-sub-trypts, FYI.

Perhaps a sign of frontal lobe overactivity / overstimulation or something like that?

Never had it though.

^I think that could be it i had dosed LSD 2 days prior to smoking DMT. I also tried a small amount of dmt just to see what a small dose was like and i didn't get a headache from that, but maybe i didn't wait long enough before dosing again? Idk everything in moderation i suppose :)

Since using I haven't had a headache but my head is sensitive to fast movement or action... It feels like maybe my brain has grown? Or there is less fluid to cushion my brain from my skull when I move around. It's been about two weeks and I also feel like the pain shoots to the middle of my brain as though it has been split...? Hoping that things will settle in a few more weeks..

That doesn't sound good. If its two weeks, you need to see a doctor. It could be an infection that is entirely unrelated to your substance use.
