The most natural, and yet most illegal substance on the planet earth.

The stuff, naturally released from the brain at BIRTH, DREAMS, and DEATH.

Have any of you smoked this substance?

I'm currently dealing with this part of it. So far, it's been quite a bad trip so to speak. If you are going to do an extraction, make sure that you are in a location COMPLETELY safe from the authorities. Federal felonies blow, to say the least.

Yeah, I'm quite aware of that. What exactly happened to you? Are you able to say something about it?

It's quite disturbing when you think about it. It's naturally released from your brain, and the feds are totally obsessed with controlling it more than heroin, crack, meth or anything else.

Nope not at all.. it depends on how much you ingest. On my first breakthrough dose, I felt like gravity was nothing and the feeling of being ripped from one dimension to another. It's really hard for me to explain. I did tons of reading on the experiences and nothing could prep me for the shear intensity/terror/beauty that DMT has shown me.

Mad respect for that chemical. Respect it or it will torn you apart and leave you picking up the pieces

That's what I was hoping, smoking the substance bypasses many of the natural defenses, and literally affects you dimensionally.

Which would explain it's illegality.

i dont know what you mean by most illegal.
I dont believe they try to crack down on it more than heroin, crack etc

That is just a silly theory that is likely not true.
Have any of you smoked this substance?
ive smoked it many times
i suggest you check out this thread
The Big & Dandy DMT Thread - The Fifth Symphony

it has lots of info and personal experience.
Also look at the erowid vault, its linked in that thread.

It's been proven true that it naturally exists within the brain. Whether it's actually released at these times are still a theory. Why else would it exist within the brain? And yes, I've read multiple experiences on this forum and Erowid.

My case is still open so I don't want to say anything specific about it because I don't want my bluelight account linked to my name. But my case should be resolved soon and I was planning on making a thread about it when I can.

I can talk about it without much detail though. Basically, cops came for an unrelated reason and found various chemicals, some dry ice, and some jars. I am charged with "conspiracy to manufacture a schedule 1 controlled substance and intent to distribute." At this time, I cannot comment on whether I actually did it or not, for obvious legal reasons.

Why the bias against ingesting it with a MAO-inhibiter as ayahuasca?
Are you only interested in smoked DMT?

I have tried both methods, and I found that the short-term high I got from smoking it was exactly the same as the feeling during the 4-hour peak of my ayahuasca experiences.

Highly recommended to those who feel stable and have had some strong experiences with psychedelics such as LSD and mushrooms. If you have had a very bad trip or two and you are still saying "bad trips are actually just learning experiences", you are a prime candidate.

Well, the bias is that smoking is very very fast way of being directly affected by the substance, drinking it and waiting around wouldn't be the same for something like that in my opinion. ;)

Drinking it is certainly not "the same" but it gives you more of a chance to explore that universe.

Smoking DMT is like a 3-day vacation to a new country. You barely start to figure out what is going on and it's time to leave.

Drinking ayahuasca is more like spending a semester in that new country.

I find, personally, that I can learn more with more time to explore (contemplate).

A full experience from smoking DMT might feel subjectively longer, and someone could easily say "it is 15 minutes in clock time, but it is an eternity to me!", but someone who has had a full-fledged Ayahuasca experience would be far less likely to say that, methinks.

after reading one or two reports on it I became infatuated with the idea of smoking an endogenous (!) hallucinogen, and so powerful. I promptly made plans to do an extraction and from the first experience on, it has been my preferred trip. Haven't had the chance to consume any in over a year, which saddens me, but I know a good break will make the return that much sweeter. I'm not in any rush <3

it can be there for many reasons, or maybe none at all.
Why does it have any relation or death, birth or dreams?

Whether or not it is a factor in dreaming during sleep, just be aware that the experience is totally different than a dream. You know that you've taken DMT, you know where you are and who you are, and you observe the experience with essentially the same waking mind. The content of the experience -- i.e. what you observe -- is also very much unlike what you see in a dream.

Once I experienced DMT to a certain depth, it became inconceivable to me that humanity could have made the error of attempting to shield itself from this molecule.

It feels very natural to me -- almost hyper-natural -- as if some fundamental force of nature has gifted me with the experience. Like the blossoming of a flower. It's truly awesome to know that we are capable of such a beautiful transformation.

I agree with those who urge you to take it with an MAOI, whether orally or in changa. Smoking DMT alone has never quite gotten me as far as I've been with an MAOI.

Been there done that. The most interesting thing about it is people act like its the king of psychedelics and have all these wild notions about it. It is great and even a poet would fail to be able to capture the sheer beauty and emotion of it all. But its not a god.

I'm not saying its not special just "come on guys its only dmt."
