DMT Extraction Questions

Him as you can see I am new to this board, so my apologies if this is the wrong section for this sort of question.

Okay, so SWIM is going to attempt extracting some NN-DMT from Acacia root bark, using this guide:

But in the steps involving the use of naptha, for both defat and the extraction, the only thing that SWIM could find that MIGHT contain naptha was this type of lighter fluid:

This is just the same stuff as the Zippo lighter fluid, right? "White fuel." SWIM wouldn't want to waste 3 days of his time with the wrong chemical.

No good son, I hear that stuff is dirty, do an evap test, put a little on a clean surface and let it evaporate if it evaporates completely without leaving any residue then I'm full of shit and it might work. Should be able to get V&P naptha at a hardware and/or paint shop.

How long should the evaporation take? It's been sitting for about 5 minutes and there's still a residue.

Under a fan is good, but it'll take awhile, check again in an hour.

Well, it's pretty dry. SWIM can't really see any leftover residue either

Ah, awesome then. I wouldn't use all my bark at once though just in case the kingsford is a bad idea, and just in case something else goes wrong. Also maybe check out the dmt nexus, it's filled with folks who are far more experienced in this field than myself.
