DMT and opiate dependence

One quick question...not sure where this should go but I put it here coz hopefully some of you psychonauts will have a solution to my problem.

I am dependent on oxycontin and ill be trying DMT very soon. If I take a dose of oxy that will keep me well but not high at all and smoke the DMT will it have any negative affect on my trip such as decreased intensity?

I just dont want to smoke the stuff in WD's, im sure that could cause many problems. So yer, has anyone got experience smoking DMT either while high on opiates or on just enough that your not sick?

Well ive smoked a fair amount of dmt on a fair amount of substances one of them happens to be oxy. I actually really enjoyed the experience it seemed to dull the trip a tiny bit but it added a nice new level to it mixing the euphoria from the oxy with the dmt euphoria. Also if you think it would decrease it you could just up your dose slightly.
 
I'm on suboxone medication, and I've had no problems getting full effects from DMT even though I've taken my normal dosage of suboxone. It seems to me if your body is used to the opioid medication then it won't affect most psychedelics, it'll probably affect more if you don't take the medication your body & brain is used to.

You didnt say whether or not youre opiate/iod dependent so ill assume you werent it is very different. I know if I was high on the oxy then it would be a waste of DMT but I just wanted to know if I took a tiny, tiny bit so I dont even feel it but im not all depressed and in a fucked up emotional state that is just asking for the most terrifying trip known to me...ever. Although ive never tried it, coming off a high dose of opiates seems like a wekk(or longer) trip of datura lol so im not doing DMT like that and I cant wait a whole week!!! im so excited :) lol I feel like a kid.

Thanks both of you too for your replies though im still keen to hear other peoples experiences because obviously everyone reacts differently to different things so individual input would be great.

When I tried DMT, I was on suboxone.. I felt that it did nothing to the experience. If you aren't nodding out and all over the place as if you were high on oxy. You'll be fine. You will have a great time. Enjoy :)
 
I smoked DMT when I sampled Oxy ;) Worked fine- also works fine with codeine, heroin, morphine- opiates are quite "excititory" and can amp up the experience in a dreamy, lego-landish way. :D
