This DMT trip happened about 2 years ago. As soon as it was over I wrote down some key moments and memories of the trip, but I've never written a trip report about it. I thought I'd do that now.
I had tried DMT a couple times before, the first dose at about 5mg, which felt like a shroom trip, lasting 2 minutes. The second time was 20mg, lasting a bit longer and was more intense. With eyes open there were these neon blue lattices or nets spiralling towards my face. They seemed to be alive and the experience felt slightly threatening but not overwhelming.
The third time smoking DMT blew my mind. I meditated for about 15 minutes beforehand to calm my nerves, and had my friend put in ~25mg into a bong, layered between parsley. It may have been more because of DMT left over from other times.
The song 'Light Ocean Blue' by Entheogenic was put on, by my friend's advice. Listening to this song always reminds me of DMT now.
So I put the lighter to the bong and took my first hit. My headspace was immediately changed. All pre-existing anxieties had faded away. I felt weird, but not in a negative way; in more of a very alien way. I look at the carpet and I can already see intricate paisley patterns rising from the ground and sliding about.
I take my second hit, not a very big one, so there isn't much change. After my third hit, everything external starts to fade away. My field of vision is almost completely black. It was as if I was plunged to the bottom of the ocean.
I still want to take a 4th hit though, I say out loud "I may as well finish it". Jesus my voice sounded weird I thought. I can barely see the bong in front of me, but I manage to light the DMT once more, this time producing a lot of smoke, finishing it and taking in the biggest hit so far. My friend says "Wow, that one was huge". I begin to say "yeeeah...." but before I can even finish or say anything else I look at my friend and his face stretches across the entire room, "what the fuuuck" was the thought going threw my head. Then to my left I saw some spherical objects forming in mid-air. I then fall back on the bed. Apparently I had my eyes open the whole time, although I don't remember. The room was dimly lit and I suppose I was just staring at the ceiling, so there wasn't much external information I was taking in at this point.
As I lie down, the room around me completely disappears and I seem to be travelling upwards. I am enveloped and at the same time staring at what I wrote down later as a 'fractal doorway'. I suppose Terence McKenna called this the 'crysanthemum'. It was infinitely detailed and I think it was mainly made of greens and yellows but that could just be a guess. It looked almost like the following picture, but with different colours, much more neon-like as well:

So it was taking up my entire field of vision and seemed to be alive, with its tentacles moving and growing. I thought that it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. It was what I had always wanted to see.
I don't exactly remember what happened next, but I must've moved further into this 'fractal doorway' because I ended up in a different realm. The sequence of events now is pretty hazy.
I was in a place where either time didn't exist or I was in a higher dimension where the flow of time isn't noticeable or it seems eternal. Hard to say. As I came out of the experience I started rambling about how time itself was in a different dimension which made objects move in strange ways.
Back to the experience, I remember looking at the geometry and objects in this space transform themselves in impossible ways. My mind just couldn't handle how it was achieving this. I was suddenly able to perceive 4D objects, like a tesseract, as if it was a 3D object. You could also say it was like looking at an Escher drawing or one of those 'impossible objects' as if they actually made sense. Very overwhelming stuff.
After the experience I wrote down that the realm resembled Alex Grey's painting 'Net of Being'

There was infinity in all directions and the colours were very similar to the painting, bright reds and golds.
I don't know when, but the entities came. I remember at one point one of them was staring right at me in an extremely powerful and meaningful way. It's hard to describe what they looked like exactly since they seemed to be made out of and connected to everything else in the dimension I was in. But they were sort of Asian looking, goddess-like, with small facial features and possibly pointy heads, ears and chins. They seemed to have these features even though they were made of red and golden light. At other times they were sort of gliding around and spinning my consciousness with them, landing me in different places. They were very playful and seemed to be inviting me in to wherever they were going. They wanted to show me everything! Everything was moving both very suddenly and smoothly at the same time.
At some other point it felt like I was being cradled by my mother again, not my exact mother, but an archetypal mother, one who I used to know. The euphoria was indescribable, pure bliss and ecstasy. I was back in the womb or back home and I felt so protected by the entities. They were showering me with love and it felt amazing. The only physical sensation I remember was rubbing my hands against the bed I was on as I experienced this mental orgasm. I wasn't really aware of having a body though.
The music by the way was going so well with the experience. The DMT realm added new sounds to the song in a perfect way. The DMT sounds were like a choir of angels singing or chimes from another world. There was definitely some unique sound to the DMT realm.
But then, I could recognise another sound, one not so nice. It was the Nokia ringtone! For fuck's sake, my other friends phone was ringing (there were 3 of us in the room). That was a really annoying interruption. It didn't ruin the experience but I wasn't as immersed in it as I was before. This friend then leaves the room to take the call. As he moves to the door I can see out of my peripheral vision a black shadow. At the time though I wasn't even sure whether that was part of the trip or not. He comes back in the room moments later and I was irritated by how he interrupted the trip in this way. What was interesting though was that I could still think in this very sober way, all the while being in the DMT space.
I stop being irritated when the entities say telepathically to me, "don't pay attention to that, look at this! Look at this!"
So I'm back in that realm again. Although I'm now travelling through what looks like an alien circus or playground, with weird, complex entertainments going on. I was also being led through alien cities, where these entities must live. The colours were very bright. I think that the complex geometry remained but seemed to be pouring out of the walls. The entities would come out of these walls as well, fly around and then take my consciousness somewhere different. Everything was still moving quickly.
Then the whole experience seemed to disappear very suddenly. I could see the cities and circus in the background, fading away. The entities went with them and gave me a last cheer and said goodbye in their own paradoxical way, because it also sounded like they were saying hello!
I could now recognise that I had a face. I felt myself breathing again. I realised I had just smoked DMT. As I was coming down, I looked across the room and at the walls. Colours were still heightened and there were still some geometric patterns on the walls. But as far as I was concerned, I was completely down.
I was gone for about 6 minutes. The first thing I say is "What the fuck was that, jesus!" I repeat this several times in amazement. I couldn't believe what happened. But all of it had slipped from my memory, just like a dream. I try to explain to my friend what happened, but don't say much, except time being in a different dimension.
I had an afterglow for about 30 minutes to an hour, I felt so happy.
Later that night I got stoned and more memories of the experience came back to me. I wrote a list of them down. This report is written from that list and from as much as I can remember.
It was the most intense, strange, beautiful, euphoric and mystical experience I have ever had. I can't wait to do it again!
