dj's, post your latest mix here!

Need Free Mix Hosting?

I'm a lot more likely to listen to a mix if I don't have to sign up for an account or go to an external website to download it. What can I say? I'm lazy. Anyhow, if you would like me to host your mix on www.induceonline.com I would be happy to. Also, if you're going to go to the trouble to share your mix with the world, why not make it the best quality possible without it being uncompressed. Here's a hint:

lame.exe -q 0 -V 0 "input.wav" "output.mp3"

If you're interested in having your mix hosted, just e-mail me at [email protected].

Hey I've been wanting to spin for a long while. I went to a few partys and my passion for DJing just increased. I have made my mind to get something to work with but dont know what to get. I want some turntables to start with. I have like 500 to work with and just dont know. I have heard that if I want to spin that I need some real turntables but just dont have the money. SO does anybody have any suggestions on what to get. Or does anyone have any equipment they need to get rid of. I need to start spinnin. SO please hit me up at [email protected] for some suggestions

Stanton makes great beginner tables. Just make sure you get direct drive and not belt drive. Technics are always the best choice, but when it comes to budget conscious buyers, the Stanton STR-8 100's are actually a good buy.

Yeah, those or the Numark TT-200s are in a similar class. Spend more on TTs than the mixer, all you need is a basic one with cueing and at least a 2-band eq on each channel, you can get one of those for 50-75 bucks.

Mixes are down for a bit

Our domain hosting ran out and I'm waiting for hostonce to update our dns information so we have our site back. In the meantime, induceonline is down. As soon as everything is up and running again, I will get back with those of you who still need a place to host your mixes.

Peace,
Sea Monkey

Hey, my new mix is up. It is more of what anyone who has heard has come to love. More Hard NRG and some Acid Tek, but it is nonstop from the intro, and is full of some dirty and euphoric riffs.

And Eklectik, you'll be happy to know that the phrasing is much better, and of course, there is a new Yoji track on here towards the end. It is called Samurai:Keyboard Cowboys and is just insane.

Anyways, sorry for the rambling, hope you all like it. Please give as much criticism as possible, I have pretty much mastered beatmatching, but now I'm working on smoothing out transistions, and perfecting my phrasing, especially with tricks.

I will have a tracklisting this weekend, so hold tight.

Thanks so much.
