So a little background, it all started three years ago with tooth ache-terrible pains morning, noon and night!!!
I'd work 12 hour shifts, weekends, nights, days and holidays, so would spend a lot of time alone. I have a fear of dentists like no other so would take pain killers starting with zapain (co-codomol) 30/500, then it was pure codeine phosphate 2 then 3 then 4 all the way hitting twenty at some points. Next dihydrocodeine crept in and again numbers became double in no time. Then if I couldn't get them whatever was available would do, to the point of smoking heroin at some points (6 total in my life). This is when I started to realise there was a problem( I should mention with this opiate addiction me and a friend had acquired a 1000 Valium blues, so could eat ten of these in the morning and ten in the afternoon easily some days.) so this ride into drugs was pretty much at a dangerous level.

I'd also picked up a nice case of bipolar during this ride, lost my life so in turn quit my job(I was highly paid for doing basically nothing), my flat(which was full of snakes and all types of exotic pets) and sex life( which was rampant till I jumped head first into this), so anyways I kept trying to break this habit time and time again, researched methods and remedies.

Well tommrow I start a detox I have 56 dihydrocodeine 30mgs, 56 lyrica 75mgs, 5 lorazepam 1mgs, 10 diazepam 5mgs, 56 mirtazapine 15mgs and hash!
On top of that I have vitamin supplements like matatone and flebglobin, loads of fruit and drinks.
Importantly I have time and space with the option of human companionship.

Well I start tomorrow and if you've got any ideas advice feel free if not I'll be writing daily to keep a account of what happens hopefully to inspire like minded people's! Much love xx

Hi, Welcome to Bluelight ! !

I started with the pills then onto Heroin myself. It seems you have ample detox medications. Do you have a taper plan? I look forward to hearing how it goes. Would you like me to move your post to a recovery or drug discussion section.

Smoky :) <3

Thank you for the welcome Smokey, yes please could you move it?
My plan is start with losing one pill (dihydrocodeine) a day spread out instead of all at once(twice),until I reach five. Then introduce 75mg of pregabalin in the morning and night. Also once I'm at this point I'll start using the diazepam at night and lorazepam during the day in no more than 10mgs and 1mg respectively if anxiety strikes. I'll be taking the flemoglobin* morning and night also which is the vitamin supplement.
Now with the mirtazapine I'll be taking this once all pills are gone for a week or two for rebound anxiety and insomnia. Along with all this lots of tea(milky and sugary), lots of hot baths, walking the dog and positive things. All these will be my driving force as you need to move to do them and we know that moving can be hard, especially from the toilet, which also reminds me I have lorantadine* for major episodes of tiolet breaks of needed.
This is what I've come up with being my best bet knowing myself and how I work, I'm positive about the outcome, as of today I have had so far it being 13.30, 5 dihydrocodeine spread out two once I woke, then two about 1100 and one just a minute ago with a brew, I'll spread the next over the next 6 hours then stop and smoke something to help me sleep, if not then I'll maybe drop 5-10mg of Valium.

Which me luck and again thanks Smokey!!!

Also might i add to anyone who may read this, this is my tolerance and should not be taken serious or as inspiration, this has caused hell and should not be taken lightly or disrespected!!!

Stay safe and be wise!!!!

Best of luck to you Jonny.

I'll move your thread to Sober Living since you are moving toward abstinence. That's the area that helped me the most as well as the Dark Side. A drug discussion forum might also be helpful. We do have mega threads available as well if you use the search engine for opiate and benzo withdrawal, as well as a Lyrica thread.

Here is one for starters. --- >The Opioid Withdrawal Megathread and FAQ.
