Diuretic pills to target E-related water retention?

(I'm posting this in several different forums but all of them are relevant, hope that isn't against the r00lz)

Hey guys,

I've been absolutely terrified about using ecstasy after my last experience. It's clear that water retention is a big issue for me, and since I know the pills I have for a New Year event I'm attending tomorrow have a high MDMA content I'm worried about getting a UTI again (especially since the one I got a month ago only went away yesterday).

Has anyone else had serious water retention issues which resulted in similar problems, and does anyone know if diuretic pills (such as Furosemide) can be used to make peeing resume normally? I have some handy but I'm scared of taking them incase I flood my system with even more water which I can't expel, regardless of how much I want to or how hard I try. Ideally I'd like to use them to make it possible for me to pee when I'm otherwise finding it physically impossible to do so.

Please give me any success stories, scare stories or general advice on what I should do!

I used to have issues with this. I found that sitting down on the toilet and reading often allowed me to expel most fluid from my bladder. Also no alcohal and make sure you pee right before dosing.

If I rem correctly this is a bad idea. I think the Diuretic might cause more urine to be "created" while still being retained making the problem worse.

This may be false. Can somebody confirm?

Lastly I have found E and stims can be dealt with rather easily psychologically combined with physical relaxation of that area (and all over in general) and modifying your position (if you are a guy, sit down and piss like that, instantly improves relief, try it).

By psychologically i mean mentally give your body permission to proceed. Its like it ceases informing you of the need to urinate and taking a dump so as not to bother you when you are high., until you inform it that its ok. Sounds weird but I have this shit down to an art and it works instantly for me when combined and with some practice. For some reason on stims the mental/physical link seems much stronger. I dont know that that means at all, but its what it feels like.

Opiates however are a whole new level of problem where the above doesnt work at all.

I'm going to pee before I take anything and I've also been taking cranberry pills to ensure any bacteria will be flushed away more easily. I'll also try massaging my abdomen and applying some warm pressure to the area, as others have suggested this may be a good idea.
I'll definitely try reassuring my body that it's okay to pee too - I totally get the idea you're going for and it sounds really reassuring!

Co-administration of ecstasy and any diuretic is a bad idea. Diuretics can drain your body of water and exasperate dehydration. It's difficult to urinate on exstacy or its main active ingredient MDMA due to the paradoxical relaxation effect which numbs the body to external and internal stimuli hence why getting touched or massaged on exstacy can be pleasant and painless. Nevertheless this effect acts like an anesthetic and stops you from being able to feel your genitals when needed and more importantly stops you from being able to detect core body temperature causing hyperthermia which can be fatal. Another factor that makes it difficult to urinate is the huge increase in neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine. You'll find that tramadol users complain of the same thing. Try closing your ears so you can concentrate on urination. Spray warm or cold water on your genitals or rub them. I should note also that IME diuretics decrease diaphoresis which is your body's natural mechanism of cooling itself down.

^^ Ok, so i was sorta right, yay. The major HR point here i think is to please not take Diuretics on E or other stims.
