I live in a beautiful area of the united states where Cannabis grows wild and just about every where...

I know it is common to grow wild in MANY but my question is have YOU ever found a random outdoor female plant/s and watched her grow with intent to harvest when buds are ready?

I used to do these sorts of things as a naive kid..thinking the leaves was the "dope" that I needed to dry out..wasn't until internet I learned how to differentiate between male, female, and hermits.

I have a few tall solid wild ones I got my eye on (Marijuana is such a beautiful looking plant). BUT I know it's possible for it to get cross pollinated or ate up by a weed worm.

My question is.. (since it's been years upon years since I tried to harvest wild "ditch weed, which resulted in no high.)..may be wishful thinking but is it possible to yield decent smoke? Maybe refine it all to make some kind of hash that's hopefully worth it? Let me know your thoughts.

i have no idea about this subject, but it sounds pretty cool... might be fun for the site if you can get some pics if you have the chance....

i actually saw a pretty thick weed (not cannabis plant) growing out of a crack in the street the other day, and was thinking about how amazing that it could grow being surrounded by so much concrete. it was like over a foot tall. looked really healthy.

have you ever tried to grow the ditch weed seeds indoors? some of the brick weed i used to get would have seeds that would grow like only 3 leaves, or just leaves on one side of the plant. they were all deformed... i've always wondered what causes that to happen with the seeds. i've always found white seeds or the seeds with intricate patterns to have best results. the brick weed that i used to get had black seeds. idk..

EDIT: i think the deformed seeds used to be black anyways. been years since i seen them. i think maybe the brick weed would have white ones too. not too sure... if i remember correctly, i got some really weird looking plants from black seeds.

I live near Kentucky and have had wild ditch weed a couple times. Actual wild pot is hemp escaped from being grown for rope years ago. It doesn't do anything but give you a headache if you smoke a lot. We didn't know about CBD, et all back then. It would likely be possible to reflux with an acid and turn the CBD into THC. I dunno.

Actually, many would assume that most 'ditch weed' is high in CBD and nothing else but this is in fact incorrect.

Some wild hemp and ditch weed can range from 1-5% THC and some have 0% CBD

The origin of ditch weed is usually the years of farmers growing it for textiles and other uses (was a big thing during ww2, hemp for victory)

Yeah some around here(they are legit everywhere) are starting to bud they look so beautiful but yeah I remember as a kid harsh smoke and headache or just 0 high/feelings from it
