Disturbed 4-AcO-DMT

Recently I received a sample of 4-AcO-DMT. I believed this product to have degraded in transit as it arrived brown instead of white. This brown has now over the course of a month turned to an almost black sludge. My question relies in if its safe to consume. My research has led me to believe that the brown flecks were just degraded 4-AcO but I'm now wondering if it may be something else or if its just degraded further. Any responses are welcome thank you.
 
I'm an "experienced" 4-aco-dmt user and it has always been like this for me, never got a problem.
No loss in potency, and safe to eat for sure ;)
 
It's probably the same degredation mentioned in that article. Anyway, it's common these days for it to come that way (brown+clumpy+sticky). It's fully active, and I can tell no difference between it and mushrooms. The dose range remains unchanged, so no loss in activity (surprisingly).

I suspect it's mostly 4-ho-dmt with further degredation products since 4-ho-dmt oxidizes rapidly. Whatever it is, it has identical effects to mushrooms except at doses over 30mg which are fairly unusual to begin with. I really can't tell the difference between it and mushrooms at any dose below 30mg, and maybe even after 30mg.

I once left some in water for about a week resulting in a yellow/green transparent liquid, and I got terribly sick from it. It might have been that the water had some sort of bacterial bloom in that time though, who knows.
 
hrm if i would have known it would degrade to 4-ho-dmt i would have kept some 4-aco-dmt sitting around for a while.
 
Do you know what form the 4-aco-dmt was in ie: freebase, fumrate, HCL? I have read that HCL degrades really quickly into a goop....

Still this is kind of like ID in my opinion and I feel the need to state no one can tell you if it is safe or not without lab testing it... I may be right and it is the HCL form or I could be wrong and it is something much worse. Either way just contact the supplier and question it and they will probably give you the best answer and if that does not help you I would suggest you check back in to fact check the suppliers answer without sharing any personal information on both sides.

Good luck with it though! 4-aco-dmt can be wonderful.

Edit: The mod might be right too on the 4-aco-det as it matches the description you gave exactly, but than again he could be wrong... Testing confirms possibilities.

Edit 2: \/Why smoke it when you can eat it in a capsule? Freezing it probably wont change anything as you are cooling it down to heat it up..... Why not just skip the first step? Still I would just question if it is worth it for a quicker effect to have a shorter duration as you taste the possibly vile smoke in your mouth.\/
 
Wow this just made me realize what I've got sitting away in a drawer. The article on erowid says it's safe to smoke, has anyone tried that? Also I'm curious about how you've go about that, freeze it to harden it then use a freebase pipe?
