Dissolving orange Methadone wafer

I was used to the old white wafer 40mg that you just swallowed, but now I have one that is supposed to be partially dissolved before taken? does it have to be? or can you just take it? im sure dissolving first would make it act faster but it appears to be an annoying process ( i watched someone do it the other day ) so i was just wondering if you could just swallow the new dissolving methadone pill and just wait longer or if it will only work if dissolved in water or orange juice.

If you dissolve it it should kick in faster, but it should work either way.

I wasn't aware that the formulation had changed, but you should be good and safe either swallowing it or letting it dissolve in a liquid and then drinking the liquid. If you want it to hit you faster, then I would use it as intended and let it dissolve.

That makes sense, it just seems time consuming like what I have to do with my Kratom FST and it annoys me. I just got used to popping the old wafers i guess, i had never seen these new ones until recently. but i suppose ill let it dissolve and take it like a shot, cant go wrong by following instructions I suppose. thank you for the feedback

Is this like an effervescent type of thing? How is it hard to drop it in solution and wait 5 minutes? Or if its more complicated what is this process that annoys you so much?

I just prefer the old method of just poppin a pill and not having to go through the same process to take a pill that I got through to take Kratom FST, which has me nodding really hard right now, though I took sub less that18 hours ago. All I wanted to know is if you have to dissolve it for it to work properly, or will it still work as normal (as it should) when just taken like an old school wafer. maybe just a longer onset if I do not dissolve it. But i am not worried about it now, in fact I am not worreid about anything right now, this Kratom is Kick butt

Do you not have the option of liquid methadone? IMO I've always felt like the liquid methadone kicks in quicker. Any one out there that can second that opinion?
