out of fear
dissalusioned
a word i use to often
to describe a mass of so many
caught in the confusion of a world
listing pages of things we must do
to be something, someone
to make more than our neighbor
to afford happiness
if we only knew what weve been training for
all of our lives
for a destiny not our own
a strangers way of selling lies
so quietly whispering
a constant undertone in every street, school and home
FORcing the insticts to fail
forcing the mind to collapse
empting out reality
for useless facts
