Disposition

I dominate.
I live in a dichotomy;
though I think for myself,
I've got you on my mind.

I forgot to tell you my name
though I'd reason it makes no difference
since the words stay the same.

And then misfortune came.

I strayed from the path
and the arrow led me here;
it never quenched my thirst
for it's the journey that is my arrival
and the travel that is my gift

oh to be able to fly and never arrive
never to end this driving motion
just to pedal across the domain
teddy bear in hand

adults misunderstand;
they compare my thoughts to
weeds of dissent in a garden of conformity...
...but I know where I can fly.

I'd know you anywhere...if only I was somewhere...

I never hated you
but I must go on, past my destiny...
...into disposition.
