the first one is obvious: your a newb, and its easier to roll with em because they dont fall over as easily.

the second reason i can think of, which is absolutely genius, is if its windy/cold/ just have to roll out side, it's a plus having thick papes.
my reasoning is that a nicely rolled joint is worth the extra paper

the third, which uses the same reasoning as the second, is for making an L-pape.
the joint comes out 100% better with thick papes.

anyone else have any uses for thick papes?

i never use thick rolling papers,
i can roll proficiently with thin paper, it makes no difference
paper tastes like shit,
i smoke inside when its windy
...no use for them

If you ever get a chance, try some Lion of Judah hemp papers. They come in a king-size yellow pack. Compared to something like Kulu king-size hemp papes, they are fairly thick. I prefer them to a thinner paper because they burn incredibly slow, and the paper doesn't affect taste.

If I was forced to smoke Zig-Zags or something I'd go for a thinner paper as the thick ones do fuck the taste up. Rice paper burns faster and tastes worse IMO.

Thick papers are disgusting. Have you ever taken a thick paper and just let it burn away in your hand? It looks really gross and smells really bad. For the longest time I took a break from smoking and my senses have definitely improved. I never used to be able to taste the paper but now I can. One probably doesn't have a very good sense of taste if you can't taste the paper. I can taste the paper in even the thinnest of rice paper joints. If I roll joints, I try to stick to Rizla Silver Ultrathins.

yea same. hate the thick rizzla king size papers. thin or ultra slim. bad rollers piss me off.
