Disappointment Habit

i think "conciously ignorant" is a contradiction in terms. if youre conciously ignorant you have to be concious of what you are ignorant of, and therefore not ignorant of it at all. as such no such thing exists. there are those who are "ignorant", from no fault of thier own, and there are those who choose to turn away from thier endless questioning, wether theyre successful in this i dont know. but i doubt it very much. it strikes me it would be like ignoring an itch by thinking "dont think about it". although they might distract themselves for a time by imersing themselves in other things.. the house, the car, the 2.4 children, the love, the divorce...

Up all night: I understand what you mean.
Though, I don't see life as pointless just because I dont have the answer/s(nor does anybody else on earth for that matter) I want. I simply like to think there is a point to it all (for no real reason, other than the fact that I dont like the idea of my existence being pointless) call it hope or a fools hope, whatever you prefer.

Harrasrer: I know consciously ignorant could sound contradicting, and indeed it did to me up until a few years ago. In that time I have met a number of people that can get on my nerves, because they do infact know that they are being ignorant (yes, they do know this underneath it all....of course they wouldnt admit this). You can tell this when you look into some peoples eyes that they arent being honest to themselves.
I think they do this, from what i have come to learn, because they refuse in themsleves to be wrong by any means

I'll shutup now.

i agree with the type of people, i think we were both describing the same type of person... i just dont like the term... perhaps "in denial" would be better
