I'm trying to gather a general consensus out of curiosity.

Do you actually like "dirty talk" during/before sex?

I just think it seems completely contrived and dumb (and I'm glad my girlfriend is of the same opinion).

Whenever I was with girls in the past that did that it was like "oh god damn... Here we go again"

Do people actually like this, or do they just do it because they think the other person likes it?
Because it's "in porn"?

I don't get it.
Just talk like a normal person.
I'm not talking about asking if the other is enjoying it, or telling something they would enjoy.
I'm talking about the over the top absurd stuff
Well that's my opinion.

Your input?

Like any form of communication it's all about timing, emphasis, body language etc etc..

I get what you mean though, and I feel the same way. Why over complicate the matter? For me it's more about the moments of silence than it is about trying to fill the moment with empty words. But timing it right can have a fantastic affect on a woman though.. and I'll put on that mask and say what needs to be said if that's what she likes. I think most women are hardwired to respond to words though.. it seems to link directly to their emotional centre. For men it's more about physicality. I know I love it when a woman takes control and takes what she wants.

I'm really vocal in bed but I know what you mean about the contrived over the top dialogue. SS is right, women respond to words. I love when the person I'm having sex with talks to me, it doesn't even have to be super dirty necessarily. It makes me feel more connected to them and like were experiencing the same thing, together. I don't need to have a conversation but having my partner whisper dirty things to me definitely turns me on.

I LOVE when a guy talks dirty to me. When the timing and the words are right if course. If I was in line at the grocery store and a guy says "are you ready to gargle my baby batter?" Then that's a turn off. But if we are fucking and he pulls my hair and whispers something about me being a filthy slut, well, that can be pretty damn good.

I've told vocal girls to "shut up" before... Just made it worse lol. I don't think they thought I was serious. Good times.

Idk I'm just glad for my current GF, where the covo is more "the dog is trying to lick my asshole get her off the bed" much more enjoyable and "real" feeling.

Ya some guys sound soooo corny trying to talk dirty. And some guys get way weird to the point that you question whether he going to kill you after he cums.

I never thought I would "talk dirty" but then it just sort of happened. If it's forced I agree it just seems corny to me, but in the heat of the moment when you're not even thinking of what you're saying then es muy bueno. lol

Honestly, it just seems to work in some situations and not in other. My boyfriend and I aren't really into it though.

It used to turn me off badly... now I'm so numb to sex sometimes it can be cool as long as nothing too weird is said. I think it's better to make jokes during sex. Then again a lot of dirty talk is a joke. Makes me laugh! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME??? ha

my new gf and I do it often, sometimes, when the timing and feeling is right, it can be really hot, sometimes it seems so ridiculous that we both start to laugh ^^ either way, it is mostly fun to us. :)

Yeah that dog line gave me a semi :-)

I think it's about breaking taboos. Language is what we use to understand the world and our activities, and certain language, like certain sex, is taboo and forbidden.

"Ohh you naughty boy spank me and put your dirty thing in me" is a bit laughable, but a well timed socially forbidden word or two can send shivers down the spine of both (or indeed all if we take sex out of its box a little!). I've know women who get shivers by having certain words whispered on their ears in inappropriate places, such as in the queue at the grocery store - very teasy and can make everyday things an act of secret foreplay :-)

I like it but I'm crap at it unless she starts. It's not a constant thing either, depends what we're doing I guess. A lot of it is based around what we're gonna do next/what we wanna do, etc.
