Dirty Sprite with Lorazepam

So I was wondering if I could crush a few 1 mg ativan (lorazepam) and mix it with some sprite or some other soda variety and get some nice effects. Would it be pointless to do so? Should I just take them normally or would crushing them and putting them in a drink make them hit harder and faster? Some people say they like benzo's for recreational use, others don't, I personally do though.

Unlikely to be very helpful. Carbonation may speed gastric emptying but if you just swallow them with sprite it is the same. Better yet, use them sublingually if want faster onset.
