Dirty Pictures: Documentary on the Shulgins

Wow, this is the first ive head of it. This is going to be a definite must watch. does anyone know how long after SXSW its gonna be available to rent/buy/torrent?

I'm excited. Been waiting on more stuff from or about him. Btw, anyone know when his third book is coming out?

Sasha has a third book coming out???

Supposedly. I heard that it might not be released until after he dies though. Not sure how true that is but he has apparently been working on it for a while.

I will definitely have to check this documentary out.

LOL everybody's waiting for Sasha to die, man. Its fucked up. I mean shit, everybody's already been waiting for him to die so we can finally read his next book.

The guy has an energy and inquisitiveness far surpassing the average person, even in his old age. I wouldn't bet on him checking out any time soon.

Am working with the Shulgin documentary team. The film took 5 years to make, and is called "Dirty Pictures".

You can find it online at "http://dirtypicturesthefilm.com" or, if you're socially inclined, at "http://www.facebook.com/DirtyPicturesTheFilm" and there's no question that your support is what will bring this to the public eye.

It Premieres at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas, March 13, at 9:30p, with a celebration to follow. Ann and Sasha Shulgin will be there. http://bit.ly/DPEvent

Anyone who makes it to Austin will get to see it, and should be able to get into the film's party. You can let us know you're coming at "[email protected]" or by telepathy. :)

We can't wait to bring it to those who've been following the Shulgins.

Regards.

I wish nothing but the best for him. He's a genius and a pioneer.
