Haha no a jug handle is not a pan handler lol. its a way to essentially turn left on a wide road with two way traffic. for example imagine a high way 6 lanes wide 3 on each side, then theres a street runing perpendicular with a light. YOu cant just turn left, but you take the jug handle (imagine aplastic milk jug handle, so you would bear right to the jughandle and loop around to the left.

I cant imagine them being like "ok we have to do away with every jug handle in NJ"

Like if that is their priority right now somethign is wrong. haha.
 
I live extremely close to New Jersey but more towards the northwestern part of the state. I like to get gas there when possible =D
 
Nah, I don't cop in newark. The dope there isn't any good, and I've been told that it sucks by numerous people.
Maybe every once in awhile they have something nice, but for the most part, it's a waste of gas & money.

+ The cops in newark don't play around. I'm not trying to set myself up for failure. Fuck that.

I have to confess, as a long time junkie scumbag(not really I'm I'm a great guy with high morals), it's always been my dream to cold-cop in Jersey! Particularly Paterson, it's a legend among dope-fiends in the northeast!

I guess I've never really had any friends who've lived there and I could never justify the drive down just to cop...NYC, Washington heights was the spot back in the day that you could just cold-cop as an out of towner....hot as fuck but easy...I guess not so much anymore....

when I lived in Florida, on the drive back north on 95, I would always stop off in philly or Baltimore....Philly always had the strongest shit...Baltimore is kind of like where I'm from, hit or miss but a lot of dope...more dangerous for sure....

Never Jersey though....I've been to some of the towns in Jersey known for dope, but it was never the right time or situation...but out of everywhere on the east-coast, the Jersey towns I've been too remind the most of the New england towns I know that have dope.....not that those towns are all dope...I like the character of old working class east coast cities just for the vibe....usually can discover awesome cheap pizza or sandwich joints, weird shady bars etc...

Yeah Providence, fall River, New Bedford, Springfield....all kind of seem similar to Jersey in a lot of ways, but while there's about 7 cities like that in southern NE, Jersey has like a fucking thousand!

The only place I've really seriously considered going to cold cop is Newark, it seems big enough that you could blend in and grab something WITHOUT getting harassed by the fuckin police! A lot of those towns everyone talks about, it seems really hot...like driving into a trap as soon as you get into town!

So, IDK where I'm going with this, but maybe someday!! Kind of sad, my junkie "bucket list"!
 
No not specifically Fall River so much! Ha Ha! Although it's home to one of the few active junkies that played in the NBA, and I've actually been to the detox he talks about in the book! And yeah, I think it is Jersey-esque in many ways...and it's 10 minutes from where I'm from, so I mentioned it
 
dude I dont know about yku but I only go to those places because they have the drugs not because I like the neighborhood like most those places are shitholes tbh man

ikr, idk what his deal is.

Anyways, stateboys are out and about in camden. It seems like every few days they patrol the area in groups.
I was walking around 2 days ago and they circled around the block, but I copped before they came back around & made my way back to the train station.
 
I always like to joke that Camden has an Aquarium and a Zoo and when people are like "wait there's a Camden Zoo?" im like "yeah its called camden"
 
lol, idk. camden isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I mean, sure, it's a shithole, but the zookeepers are pretty nice... ;)
