Opioids Dipyanone

Could one add sodium hydroxide or other base to the solution to offset the caustic nature? I don’t plan on doing so but it’s always been something i’ve been curious about.
 
Dipyanone is a good substitute for methadone, that'all. I dont think it will give a rush IV with Cyclizine or other antihistamine ( with anticholinergic action) . ( I think dipipanone, Phenadoxone or Dextromoramide give a rush because of different pharmacokinetics, enter the brain faster, H-L shorter, etc...)
