I have 100mg of dipt in my closet, a little over 4 years old. Should i throw it away or is it good to consume?

Can't tell ya for sure, but if it is discolored I would throw it out. I had a friend eat 2 year old pinkish-brown 5-Meo-amt, and he did trip but was very sick for like five days. Tread with caution, ie allergy test. Peace mang

From what I've read 5-MeO-AMT can do that do that to you even if it's fresh, especially in inappropriate doses...

Regarding the original question it depends very much on how it was stored...

^Hehe yeah I was gonna say!

With the DIPT, it depends how discoloured it is. It turns yellow/orange fairly easily by exposure to air, but I guess even orange stuff can still be fairly pure (assuming it was to start with) since oxidation products are often brightly coloured and it doesn't take much to make everything coloured. I haven't actually checked the purity of discoloured stuff though. If it's black/dark purple or something then yeah, maybe you should throw it away.

If it's a bit discoloured you should be able to clean it up by recrystallising it from naphtha like you would DMT, assuming it's the freebase.
