Hey Bluelight,
I have a tattoo on my upper back along my shoulders and I can tell you for those of you who dont have a tattoo that that indeed in fact cause discomfort. I'm planning on getting another tatto on my ribs (which I' told is the most painful place to get one due to lack of skin on top of the rib bones, I'm pretty skinny). A buddy of mine told me that after taking 2 sudafed PE pills that his tattoo pain in the same area was minamized. Now I've heard taking acetaminophen helps somewhat (which is in the sudafed) but the diphenhydramine really jumps out at me. Is taking that amount (25 mg) of Diphenhydramine a good ideabrfore my tattoo for the pain? Does anyone know of any chemical tricks to ease tattoo pain?
Thanx,
GJ

Also some sedatives might help with your nerves.
