Diphenhydramine for DXM Side-effects

How much diphenhydramine would one have to take (hypothetically) to counteract the histamine release of a dose of DXM of about 700mg?

the redness usually comes on like an hour after dosing the DXM. should i dose them at the same time or the benadryl before? i just really don't want my face to get all red again. that shit is embarrassing especially when you have dry skin to start off with.
 
Oh no but DXM isn't psychedelic ^ lol. I regress..

Anyway, I would take the diphenhydramine 30 mins before the DXM, you want it to be fully effective before the histamine release instead of trying to combat it once it happens.

It is a dissociative and PD discusses those as well :)
 
Take the DPH first, a half hour would be fine. It seems to potentate DXM in my case, so you might trip a little harder, a lot harder if you take like say 100mg DPH but the side effects get much worse rather than a little better at that point.

which side effects get worse?
 
dry mouth, lethargy, nausea, the shits, and oddly enough itching. 25-50mgs is what you want.
