Hi all,

Fist time post just wandering if anyone could share some knowledge on extracting DMT. I have been unable to find a recipe and need some guidance in what plant to look for and the general steps involved. I have university chemistry skills and am looking to give this a go, any direct help or links to resources would be great.

However if you have university chemistry skills, you probably don't need to read how to do it, just infuse the ground plant in acidified water, basify it the filtrate and extract with a non-polar solvent. Warm naphtha/hexane/heptane works well.

Does the BLUA explicitly ban discussion of various teks? I've never wanted to pose any questions on the nature for fear or infraction.

Extraction isn't synthesis. The DMT remains DMT.

There used to be plenty discussion of acid/base chemistry on ADD before they decided they only wanted to talk about pharmacology.

Teks arent limited to simple extraction/crystallization. I.e Ergine to lysergamides.

Thanks all been very helpful. Found a good extraction method, now i need to find the right plants. Wondering if anyone can recommend a specific species, and knows where it can be found. (I live in the southern suburbs of Perth) I've had a look at a few acacias i think would work, just wanting some reassurance I'm using the right one.

I don't know if there are any wild DMT containing plants near perth, but I know there certainly are many places online that will sort you out, many of the plants are also not scheduled in any way.
