Dimethylphenidate?

Does anyone have any information on this drug? I cannot find anything on it at all.

I would love to know as I use ethylphenidate and if this could be a possible replacement/more suitable for use that would be wonderful.

Any info is appreciated.

More than likely 4-MethylMethylphenidate. (4-MeTMP)

Ask for the IUPAC name and/or CAS number.

Agreed with previous poster, it does sound like 4-Me-TMP.

It's now banned in the UK, but it was a great stimulant.

No 4-Me-TMP is not the same thing as this, this is new but very similar. On the ester there is an isopropyl group instead of a methyl group which is a difference enough to maybe make it legal to acquire it, and alter its effects.

4-Me-TMP = methyl 2-(piperidin-2-yl)-2-(p-tolyl)acetate
Dimethylphenidate = Phenyl-piperidin-2-yl-acetic acid isopropyl ester

EDIT: there's a source website that has both, showing the only difference is the isopropyl ester

IMO- eph > mph > 4F-MPH > 4-ME-TMP didn't enjoy isopropyl or 3,4-ctmp i gathered ethylnaphtlyl(t)ate wasn't worth thebother even for novelty...

So what might one expect from dimethylphenidate? where would it fit in.... rodent BL guinea-pigs, i've taken a well deserved break from blindly trying stuff with NO info...8) yup dum dum dum..... but still on my two %)
