A few days ago I went through someone I usually don't go through for Subutex, and she tried to sell me a white round pill that was completely blank, swearing that it got wet and the numbers came off. The pill was supposed to be Subutex, it was about the same size as generic Subutex, but the edges were much more rounded than the normal generic Subutex and it tasted sweet for some reason when I snorted it. It was very easy to break apart, almost like clay, and while I didn't want to get it because it seemed fake, I was withdrawing and decided to take the risk as there was nothing else around. While doing a quarter of the pill took away my withdrawal symptoms, it felt like I did around .5mg of Bupe rather than what it was supposed to be. Normally I would think it's fake right away, but it did take away my withdrawals and while it wasn't as strong as regular Suboxone/Subutex, it seemed to have done the job. Could this possibly have been some crappy counterfeit form of Subutex from another country or could it be something else entirely? I really don't see what else it could be as if it was Methadone or Percocet then the taste would be different and a quarter of it wouldn't even phase my withdrawals at all.

We don't do pill identifications on here, since there is no possible way we could know what your 'generic white round unmarked pill' contains. We would need a GC/MS in a laboratory setting to properly analyze what this is.

Personally, I wouldn't trust someone who said 'the letters got washed off'. If it worked, then great it worked. But also take into consideration that it could have been placebo, opiate withdrawal is incredibly mental as well as physical. You can indeed trick your mind to a certain degree.

Regardless, don't trust pills you cannot identify and get a new hookup.

Thanks. I know it's not some kind of opiate because I did a piece of a real Suboxone strip an hour after taking some of this yesterday and I didn't get precipitated withdrawals. I guess you're right that it may be placebo effect, although I never thought that a placebo effect could be so strong that it would take away all withdrawal symptoms including yawns for an entire day and night. Whatever it is, it definitely doesn't feel anywhere as strong as real 8mg Buprenorphine so I'm going to stay away from it.

Hi, what country was it from? Anyway in the UK we get dispensed ARROW GENERIC BUPRENORPHINE and they are 100mg in weight and can have 2mg or 8mg. Some pharms dispense 400mg p/w SUBUTEX.

Funny thing is the ARROWS 2 and 8 LOOK THE SAME but the number - how did it taste? pupil constricion is a sign of opiates

As for pre-wds it deopends......... you can stop using dope, etc and 6-12hr go onto 4mg without any problems usually. This varies alot with people.

Now I think you MAY of got ARROW GENERIC NAME. HOWEVER you CLAIM a 1/4 pill was like 0.5mg?? Soooo it's HIGHHHHHLY possible your mate has BOTH 2mg and 8mg (maybe he gets 8mg and 2x 2mg meaning he is on 12mg/day) and he keeps the 8mg and saves the 2mg ones. The NUMBER 2 was wiped off so he could sell as a 8.

Theres other generic names it may be.

This. I'm closing this as we can't do anything but speculate.
