I was prescribed something called Dilaudin (sp?) a while ago when I broke my leg. They turned out to be pretty fun recreationally as well. Has anyone had any experiences with this drug before? Can you actually buy them for recreational use?
 
dilaudid (hydromorphone) is a narcotic analgesic and its stronger than morphine. That would be a good prescription to hold on to.

Praise be Allah! You must have been wearing something sexy to get Dilaudid for a broken leg.. in terms of narcotics, it's oneof the most rarely prescribed, reserved usually for those with terminal pain conditions, where addiction isn't a concern .... I worked in the local "narcotics heacy" pharmacy for about 6 months and I think we had 2 scripts for Dilaudid the entire time..
As for personal experience - I lived off them for awhile... the going price was $5 per 1mg, so a K-4 sold for $20 - o one even argued about the price, because after you booted one of these for the first time, you understand why one pill can cost so much!
ORALLY - Only so-so ... it's better then Percocet but nothing orgasmic..
SNORTED - For some reason these don't snort as good as you think... yeah, you get the warm rushm but it's weak when you examine option #3 -
INJECTED - My personal theory is that over at Knoll (the makers of Dilaudid and a ton of other industrial strength pain killers) the lab techs were getting tired of having to smuggle out the raw drugs for their lab tech parties... so it was decided they would make a pill that is just BEGGIN to be injected!

Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) is my prescription opiate of choice! 6mg IVed has me floored! With the pulsating rush of 10,000 orgasms, warmth and bliss! The high isn't all that long, but its well worth it if you ask me.

Take 100 people and give them one $20 wrap of heroin and one 4mg Dilaudid... boot them with each (sepereate the dosings by a few days so they can get the FULL IMPACT of each) ... I can promise that at LEAST 85% would opt fopr the Dilaudid then the heroin...

I remember reading an article in Rolling Stone magazine where they interviewed the guys from Aerosmith. I thought it was funny when Steve Tyler was talking about hanging out in Joe Perry's basement writing songs and using various drugs back in the day, and they had a Dilaudid pill in which they lost somewhere in the basement. They talked about absolutely tearing the basement apart looking for that damn Dilaudid and they never did find it, oh well. It was just a somewhat interesting story and I figured I'd share it.
 
Well I got them when I broke both the shin bones in me leg and had a steel plate put on the front shin bone. I am allergic to codeine so they gave me a script for around 30 of these puppies. I took what was needed for pain while my leg was broken and the rest just kind of sat around until I decided to have some fun with them. I have since taken them all, orally.
I didn't even think to try and inject any, but according to the posts above, it looks like I may have wasted them! booooo! Still, I enjoyed them while I had them, and let me tell you they didn't last long once I dipped in

If you enjoyed them, then it was not a waste... you just would have gotten more punch for yer buck if you loaded a rig..

Thats probably subjective to the person doing it. I don't get the pins and needles and gasping for breath feeling from dilaudids. Infact they do wonderfuly for me. Experiment yourself and find out what works best for you.
 
I would take DILAUDID if the name of the game is IV drug use... if you're talking about SNORTING then I would opt for heroin (as when snorted you get a longer buzz) ...
But yeah, it's subjective - not everyone is the same, and like fine wines, every opioid has it's own unique properties that make one more enjoyable over another ...
