Opioids Dilaudid: Snorting powder vs solution

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything related to this topic. Basically, I've got some 2 mg dialudids (hydromorphone) that I'm planning on snorting tonight (I know shooting works better, but I'm not comfortable with needles). I've railed them before and gotten a really nice buzz from them. However, thinking back to the times that I've done black tar, I always mixed it up in a spoon with some water, waited for it to dissolve, and then very lightly snorted that dissolved solution, and that was always just dandy.

SO, I was wondering if there's any advantage to snorting the dillys in this manner, or if it would essentially be the same effect. My guess is that they would be basically the same, but I was hoping someone here would have some input as to whether or not mixing with water first might lead to a tad bit more getting ingested intranasally as opposed to just crushing it up and snorting the dry powder.

Making a solution would likely increase the surface area and absorption which would increase the BA. I couldn't feel a difference between snorting pills or solution. Plus 2mg hydromorphone pills are ridiculously small to begin with.

dilaudid should be a schedule I. it is ridicolously way too fast acting, when a RX bottle says "take 8 times daily as need for pain, or take every 3 hours as needed?" thats just a hassle and a chase...i have Ived dilaudid and only got a 3 second rush, no buzz, nothing, back to sober, i went thru 20 dilaudid 4s in an hour..yuck to that..sorrry to shit on post...water solution may be better up nose, as nasal sprays as liquid it attaches to mucuous membranes fastet and easier

Creating a solution using saline or filtered water will greatly increase the likely hood of proper absorption through your mucus membranes as it travels through your nose to your stomach.. I am not sure if you are aware of plugging or comfortable with the practice but plugging the diluadid is a great substitute to IV which I don't recommend you start doing ever.. Plugging is safer on your nose but beware, Hydromorphone is very potent and if you are not tolerant which you didn't mention in your post could lead to serious health complication and Respiratory depression. Well i have never taken Heroin before (here it is just too expensive and of rather dubious quality) but i have had a major dilaudid habit. At my worst i was shooting up 36mg's of dilaudid every 4 hours or more. I would just get that 1 minute rush then nothing basically. Some of the worst smackheads i know had a hard time believing i got that kind of a habit but with dilaudid it's just so compulsive. There was a point when supply permitting i would sometimes shoot 3 of those 18mg hydromorph contins after taking 100mg's of promethazine a hour before just to catch a rush. And i already take 4-6mg's of clonazepam a day for anxiety but i don't abuse that at all but it would still add to the effects of opiates. Thank fuck that with morphine i can keep my tolerance within sane levels.

I made dilaudid into a solution for nasal use back before i started shooting the stuff. I have to say i prefer it from just snorting the powder because it hits faster and doesn't wreck my nose like railing the pills do. I always used to get the name brand dilaudid 4's which only have 2 fillers in them and are reasonably safe to shoot (with a micron filter of course) but snorting any powder much less pills does do a number on your nose especially if you have a heavy habit. I started getting bad sinus headaches from it so i figured why not try and put it in a solution . I put it in one of those nasanex bottles so i could measure it out to within a fairly specific dose. Just dose lower then you normally would incase you get more of the drug per ml then expected and always remember to shake the bottle up everytime you use it.

Ive had quite the history with dilaudid and while the water may increase absorption you gotta 'be sure it'd not just dripping down your throat cause the oral b.a. is shit compared to nasal and just in general.

Use as little water as possible. And do little amounts at a time to decrease chance of it leaking down the back of your throat.
