Dilaudid pill dose question

Hello,

I'm using my phone to ask this question so I ask that the moderator PLEASE not delete or move or shut down for at least two hours.

I'm going to pick up some dilaudid pills and I'm being told they are 4mg strength. I googled around a bit and can't find a reference to show what mgs are available etc.

Does anyone know if 4mg is a weak or a strong pill or how it would compare to a 30mg Oxycontin tablet?

if you have no tolerance, 4mg snorted should give you a pretty good buzz, they are almost useless oral though

I shoot about 200mg oxycontin a day ... How would it stand up to that if I IV them?
 
Shoot 10 of em in a sitting and see how that doez ya, u will be fine especially if ur doin 200mgz a day

Seriously? The Dilaudids are that weak? I was under the impression that Dilaudid was MUCH MUCH stronger than morphine, oxycontin etc. ... but if what you're saying is true, then the 4mg IV is really worthless?

Nah, I'm hoping that was an exaggeration (the shooting 10 thing). If you've never experienced Dilaudid before I'd say IV'ing 4mg will at least make you feel SOMETHING. I have taken dilaudid fairly regularly for the last few weeks/months and take it by insufflation. Tolerance develops FAST this way. I now snort 8mg with no effect (thus, it's useless and wasteful). Try IV'ing 4mg. If that does nothing, do another 4. I think you'll be pleased. EVEN with your tolerance (mine isn't quite that high but high regardless).

Good advice. Buckie, try 4mg and see how that does you. If it's not enough, 6mg. You'll probably like it. And wow man, your tolerance now is 200mg a day? That' really high, I've seen you go from naive a few months ago to a very serious oxy habit. Be careful man, I know you're already dependent, but watch out. stay safe man...
 
No that wasent an exasuration, Yes you might feel a little something off 4mg but when i was getting scripted the 4z i was crusing up 4-5 in a spoon at a time, then would do 3 or 4 of those shots. And my tollerence is about the same as yours. And yes it might be that much stronger but do the math 200mg of oxy or 4mg of dilaudid, if the 4mg of dilaudid is 5times stronger then the oxy then that 4mg would equall about 25mg of Oxy? Ya see what im sayin kinda?
 
^Your math is teh fail in your OP at least. I can't follow that^


290mg oral Oxy (assuming 70% BA = 203mg IV) = 21.75mg IV hydromorph

i take hundreds of the 4mg's every month, and a 8mg shot still feels amazing, given that I've waited at least 8 hours since the last one(crucial.. gotta let your body get rid of most of it first or it'll take a lot more to feel the high. Even better than 8 hrs is 24 if you can swing it). From experience start at 4 or 8mg(2x4mg tabs) it should be similar or close to 40mg oxy, but if you are doing less than 40mg oxy per hit than start at 4 not 8 for sure.. Kado420 isn't exactly wrong, it's just that what he described, needing 40mg (ten pills iv'd) in one sitting is NOT going to be your starting point, it's the point you can/will get to if you if you keep chasing the high and don't leave much time between hits. Hydromorphone has rapidly diminishing returns if you hit it too often

Well, I'm prescribed 4 - 30mg oxycontins and 12 - 5mg Oxycodone IRs a day so that's ... ummmm (carry the two ...) - 180mg a day that I take IV'd. I'm sure there is loss in there for the IV process so I guess I'm not quite at 200mg a day. Although for the last few months. I've ran out early but this month, I REFUSE to use more than prescribed in a day because jonzin at the end of the month sucks ass! I have to beg or borrow and use fent patches to get through it.

I'm being safe bro - thanks to bluelight and you and others who help educate me. I'm all about the micron filters now and lowering my daily use so it's all good!

Glad to hear you found that dose enjoyable. It's always a good idea to start low and go up from there; much better than overshooting (no pun intended...).
 
Hydromorphone has a much better rush than oxycodone too. Even at comparable doses. (Try some oxymorphone, it's even better)
But even if you're tolerant and don't get lots of euphoria, you should atleast feel that intense body high.
(I remember my first 10mg opana. I thought I was gonna jump out of my skin.)

hydromorpohone has a really low oral BA of around 30%. But since you are IV'ing it, it doesn't matter. Hydromorphone is about 2.5x as potent as oxycodone. So if you IV 200mg a day of oxycodone, 80mg of hydromorphone would be it's equivalent. I would start out with trying a single 4mg, see how you react to it, then go from there. Dilaudid has a much greater rush than oxycodone IMO.

If you are shooting 200mg oxycontin. The Dilly is going to be a LOT stronger Rush when you shoot them. I shoot about 3 Dilly 4's at a time.. and the rush is SRONG Euphoria. It's so much better than oxycontin.

It does have a much greater rush!!! I used to shoot 8 oxycontin 40's at one time.. the rush was NOTHING compared to 3 Dillaudid 4mgs. (aka M4's).

I'd heed this mans advice, and start out with one or two... then go from there. To get 80 MG of Dilauded you would need to shoot 20 pills.... You would be f'ing dead. No dobut about it. Don't even try it.

Please just start with one and go from there. Don't take a chance.
 
I also agree with d3vnpb, wait as long as possible. I get 240 8's a month and have a hard time waitng until I go through half of them then I start to control my self but you know how that goes. I keep trying:?
