Dilaudid or Opana or Morphine?

Ive searched but havent gotten great results on comparing these 3. I have done Morphine SR 100mgs & know what I get out of them for pain & recreation. Ive never done Opana or Dilaudid so was wondering if the Dilaudid 8mg tabs are better than Opana 40mg tabs but since Opana changed their formulation & since I dont know what they were like before, I guess I cant compare but for the experienced users on here, which of these 3 would be recommended for pain & recreation.

I know Morphine isnt much for recreation drug but its great for pain & lasts long. My tolerance is about 25mgs of Morphine SR chewed up to feel decent or 30gs of hydrocodone...........of course I dont want my tolerance to go up & as you see, I try to keep it pretty steady (but we all know how the story goes if I keep following the yellow brick road)

I went from 20 mgs of oxy to make me feel "nice" and after opana now I have to take about 120 mgs of oxy for the same feeling.

That leaves dilaudid. I currently take this as well. Dilaudid is pretty poor orally, but works super well insufflated. Since you are talking an sr med (morphine) and an ir med ( dilaudid). Can you get both? Not sure if you are getting prescribed this, but for a good pain relief/recreation mix, I would suggest morphine sr with dilaudid 4 or 8 mg for breakthrough pain.....

Thanks for the info...........I was thinking Dilaudid as well because Opana has sky rocketed everyones tolerance that I know use to take it.

Morphine "isn't much for recreation"? Are you from planet earth or somewhere else? No seriously dude, morphine is the most recreational opiate there is (along with heroin, which is a morphine prodrug, anyways). Even orally, there is always a recreational dose. It's all about the dose.

I dont find it very recreational when I cant read the stop sign or when an opiate is about to put me to sleep. Its great for pain & that it for me. I dont use a needle so that not an option, just orally & snorting which gives me more of a euphoric feeling. I find Vicodin more recreational.......

If you want to talk recreational, get your hands on Levorphanol, now we're talking!

Well you don't IV, that's the problem (I don't recommend you start, though). I've tried levorphanol. It is very nice. But it is like a lot of fully synthetic opioids - it's missing something. Just can't beat the organic opiates like morphine and heroin, or the semi-synthetics. They got that true opiate high. Not saying that the fully synthetics are bad or they aren't any good, but they just aren't the same. IV Demerol seems to be the most euphoric fully synthetic opioid. I shot levorphanol and no rush, just a high. Plus it is very, very sedating.

Yes Levorphanol is sedating but had me in the happiest place ive ever been with opiates.

Which do ypu prefer, Morphine or Dilaudid? I looked at the conversion chart & it said that 25mgs of morphine orally is qual to 6.25mgs of Dilaudid orally but from what ive read, Dilaudid is lousy orally & should be snorted or ived. Since I dont IV, I could try snorting...........

I had taken it once before but I was already on a bunch of morphine or something so couldn't accurately gauge the effects. I was sniffing it, and I was surprised at how fast the high came on, but just as fast as it came, it went. With slowly sniffing each pill (2 pills, 5 or 6 lines each) I started feeling good 3/4 of the way though the first pill, and the euphoria lasted about 45 minutes after the last line.

As for Opana, I find it to be a more euphoric version of morphine. It lasts long, is sedating, gives me the munchies (I get the "morphine munchies" as well) but I still don't find it as euphoric as oxycodone. I'm in the "morphine isn't that euphoric" camp though, so I find almost all other opiates more euphoric than it, but I say that if you like morphine, you will love Opana. However, with the change in formula you can't sniff it anymore, but if you are able to get a dose that is equivalent to your morphine dose then it might be worth taking it orally.

If we were talking IV I'd take hydromorphone any day. Can't beat that rush—like getting blasted by a train. So good. Though it doesn't quite have the legs that other shit has... but I don't really care. I'm all about the rush and for that, hydromorph is king.

Thanks for the info Tommy..........yeah the damn pharm companies switched both oxy formulation, they dont like people having fun on their meds. Opana being as sedating as Morphine but more euphoric sounds very interesting. I guess I will try both........as for oxycodone, there is definitely a difference from the OP's & the pure oxycodone tabs.

If you don't plan on railing it... you shouldn't plan on bothering with dilaudid. It's got a killer rush, but I have a horrible love/hate relationship with it now. It does nothing orally, even for legitimate pain relief.

Use the MSER for pain relief; best bet there.
Euphoria.. that depends on preference. You'd have to sample each the hydromorphone and the oxymorphone (several times, you know, get a feel PS: NOT HR!

That's about all there is to it; morphine is still king for analgesia. We just have too many people w/ weird allergies, so we need off-shoot meds that are "hypoallergenic" (to a degree, at the time, bare with me ha!) - by that I mean they're designed to produce fewer side effects in individuals. I imagine a lot of the issues are in all the "pre-pressed-10,000,000,000-dollar whatevers bs formulations: put irritants into the filler / binder matrix (like they do the foolish "tamperproofing" [as if that wouldn't take the tiniest "lab" to de-concoct..]).

I would go for the dillies for the euphoria, given the market. They are what they are; no new version to basically play hide and go seek the opiate with..

To add... I used to have a crapton (I now realize how luck I was..) of dillies at my disposal. Eating them IS useless. Aka ~30% BA. About double that insufflated.

I'd like to hear about one thing I've heard - making a slightly aqueous solution of the hydromorphone makes it hit the nasal cavity / individual better. I haven't take one of them in... years actually, damn. Have fun!

This is pretty subjective, TLB, and we don't usually have long opinion-based discussion threads but I'll let it run for a bit longer to see if anyone else has any good info for you.

I have done ALL OF THESE, every single way besides IV (never have IV'd. always wished I had b/c i was doing more drugs than everyone who was, but then again I didnt want all those problems PLUS the needle). I'd say:

Opana 40mg
Dilaudid 8mg
Morphine 100mg

With the morphine/dilly coming close. For me personally, morphine is VERY EFFECTIVE, so ime enough morphine can feel WAY BETTER than lots of dilaudid. But if youre talking just 1 100mg morphine? I used to get the 60mg ABGs and go through like 5+ and feel like god. To feel that way I had to mix up the ROA though (plugging/sniffing/eating)The dillys 8s same thing, mostly sniffing though, some plugging, no eating. Nothing compares to opana for me though, and its what I was doing the most of. Only nasally too, never had to plug/eat an opana.

All nasally, daily for years. And at points i had TONS of all of those youre talking about, so i've tried all 3 quite a bit.

oxycodone is better than all three of those if you dont IV IMO. (recreation)

I get a prescription of 10/325 hydrocodone & soma.........the others are around. I can get as much oxycodone as I like but I dont like oxycodone much, if you can believe it. I dont like the energy oxycodone gives me so I dont use it anymore.............
