The rush from banging Dilaudid is more powerful than the rush from Heroin. However the effects are much shorter which is why I prefer Heroin but I have heard many people say they prefer hydromorphone. I'm talking IV. Not insufflation or orally. I'd rather have oxycodone than hydromorphone if I didn't plan on shooting it but whenever I had it of course I did.
