Dilaudid K8 vs. Opana Er 40 mg

Hey all, I, as I am sure is the same with others, am dealing with endo's decision to stop Opana production and was wondering 1. if Dilaudid is effective when insufflated and 2. How much would it take to have a similar high to a Opana ER 40 mg? ( I realize they are two different highs, I am just trying to get a gauge on what kind of dose I should take of the Dilaudid in order to feel it, Opana has jacked my tolerance way up.)

the bioavailability of insulflated dilaudid is pretty poor. having said that i am not 100% sure of the dosage required to equal that of oral oxymorphone at the 40mg range. You should try using wikipedia and various opiate calculators to come up with yoru answer.

i want to say the bioavailability of insulflated dilaudid is like 30% so if you snort an 8mg you only a bit more than 2mgs will make it into your system.

like i said wikipedia and opaite calculators are you friend

Thanks, I ended up getting the Exalgos instead to my extreme displeasure, I cant find any answers about them on bluelight or online in general for that matter. Seems they are making everything as difficult as possible to abuse. Definitely wish I had a sub or two right now...

Dilaudid (hydromorphone) has an oral BA of around 30%, and a nasal BA of around 60% (both figures from memory, but easy to find via google).

There is a conversion chart right at the top of this page to help with comparing various opiates / opioids.

Brand discussion isn't allowed on BL, which is why you aren't getting results. Use chemical names instead (eg. hydromorphone, oxymorphone) when searching.
