so i have plenty experience shooting d's but i normally only get 4mg's ive recently come across 8mg's there triangle shaped with a score down the middle with M on one side and 8 on the other. So as i go about the normal procedure i get to the point where i put the filter in the spoon and then i go to draw it up everything looks fine but then i notice that a large part of the pill isn't going through the filter and it looks like the part i want is being left behind the powdery substance which isn't powdery any longer because of the water but that's the only way i can describe it. I did the best i could drawing it up with no success what i have in the needle is almost clear... i decide to blast it anyway suprisingly i felt it but not near as strong as i should had. Anyone know what the deal is here or if im doing something wrong?

It's just the inactive ingredient that is left behind. 8mg of hydromorphone is a tiny amount compared to the weight of the pill, so the majority is insoluble cuts.

Speaking from personal experience shooting the triangle m8s if any residue is left before u put in the filter you haven't crushed the pill enough/you're not letting it dissolve all the way. It would take about 15seconds of stiring and they leave a clear liquid with nothing left undissolved. I shot them everyday for a year straight those and the p/b8s

Not along enough soak and stir. I had corner of one do this only to draw up then put couple drops off my finger in spoon and mashed it under the filter and stirred it disappeared quick the second go round.

They likely contain different inactive ingredients. The 8mg M8 triangle shaped hydromorphone pills contain hydromorphone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and stearic acid. I don't know what type of pills you had before, but if they were the normal brand-name Dilaudid 4mg they contain just hydromorphone, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate and yellow dye. Some of the ingredients in the triangles are harder to break down and more dangerous to inject.

Microcrystalline cellulose is a particularly bad one, and people have actually died from injecting it (of fatal pulmonary granulomatosis). It may also make the pill not dissolve in water properly because it absorbs water.

It could be that you are just having more inactives left over, and if you are not feeling it as much it could also be that some of the hydromorphone is staying trapped in the inactives and/or the inactives are clogging your filter. If you are going to inject them, I would advise crushing them well, using more water, stirring well, and using a micron filter to filter the solution.
