Opioids Dilaudid First Time Issue

Hi guys!

I have been a member of bluelight for a while but I never really post anything, so i'd just like to say hi to everyone. :)

Well, I happened to come across some 8mg Purdue Dilaudid (the ones with Pd on the front and 8 on the back, triangle-shaped). I have always wanted to try Dilaudid, hearing that the rush is spectacular and the nod is intense and amazing. A bit of a background on me: I am very opiate-naive, I have done oral hydrocodone and oxycodone on several occasions in the past, as well as insufflated roxi's and IV morphine in the hospital once. One insufflated 30mg roxi had me OD'ing, so you can tell I have a low tolerance (I hate oxy). I have not done any opiates in the past 4 months, the last being 4mg IV Morphine in the hospital, which I might add was quite fuzzy and enjoyable =D

So, I broke the dilly in half, crushed it, and put the 4mg in a contact lens case, mixed it with water, and sucked up half of the liquid. I had just taken a shit because I was going to plug it, just to make sure none of my feces would absorb the drug. So I plug 2mg of the solution, waited 15 minutes, and got a nice warmth and fuzzy euphoria (not exactly a rush) which I enjoyed. However, I wasn't nodding, which I really wanted. So I plugged the rest of the liquid 15 min later, totaling 4mg plugged, and I just felt a bit stronger in the body feeling. Still, no nod. So I waited another 30 min, crushed up the other half, and snorted another 2mg, and STILL no nod. I'm high as fuck, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel dreamy or anything of the sort, just heavy and relaxed.

Why am I not nodding? :( please help! I don't really wanna take more seeing as I could OD at this dosage, so please give me advice. The only thing I can think of is that I did this an hour after I woke up. Thanks guys!
 
IMO you may be paying too much attention to the nod, and expecting more than opiates can give.
Sit back, relax.

Or option 2) stay the fuck away from opiates.

I'd pick 2).
 
I really don't want to say (admit) this, but Dilaudid is amazing, but it is only amazing (IMHO) when done IV...otherwise it just feels like some hydrocodone (and is pretty worthless taken orally...just my $0.02...I'm NOT suggesting you take up IV'ing anything though... :/
 
I too was disappointed by Diluadid... Shot 4mg and just kind of lay in bed for 2.5 hours followed by ITCHING. Also, mixing D's with water and squirting it up your nose is much better than straight railing. In any case, opioids aren't for everyone and you may prefer a more mind altering drug opposed to sensory alteration.
 
Y'all expect too much from hydromorphone, especially at these dosages. It's not a particularly noddy drug at that level IMO, oxymorphone is much better for analgesia and of course, nodding at lower dosages like that IMO, but I don't condone it's abuse.
 
Dilaudid is more know for being fast acting with a short duration, whether it is brought about by the intense rush IV'd, or fast onset when insufflated or plugged. I haven't hear people praise it for it's nod, and IME it doesn't last long enough to make you nod much, and if it did you would only be nodding for 20 minutes. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I snorted dilaudid, and actually almost caught a nod, but I went from high back to baseline in like an hour, and that was with sniffing 16mg over about 30 minutes (I have a decent tolerance). Intranasal BA of dilaudid is higher than rectal BA, but not enough to make you that disappointed with the experience.

The reason why you probably didn't nod is because enough of the drug wore off in the 30 minutes between each dose. I don't recommend doing a larger initial dose since you have a low tolerance, so I would just give up on dilaudid. I didn't mess with it until I had a high tolerance, and I think it's best reserved for such individuals if they intend of taking doses that will result in a nod.
 
Yeah when plugging dilaudid, (if you have a limited supply, otherwise I'd just plug it all since it has a solubility saturation that maxes out around a whopping 333mg!!!11oneoneone) I'd snort half your dose and plug the other half.
 
Thanks for your replies guys. Yeah, I was quite disappointed in the experience. I think I'm going to stay away from opiates after my experience yesterday. I ended up throwing up (which I usually hate a LOT, but it actually wasn't very unpleasant on opiates?) and just napping for about 5 hours, yet still not what I would call a nod. Might as well stop myself while I can. I don't know why but I much prefer benzos to opiates in the relaxation/mood-altering factor. Oh, and a mix of MDA+MDMA in one plug shot =D =D =D =D *jizz*
 
dillies are amazing IV, fact, not saying you should cross a dangerous line and IV but other roa's aren'tb great imo... i'dc rather pug an equivalent dose of morphine, it lasts wy onger, without the IV rush dillies are good but nothing very special, yu're better off wit high BA oral oxy or plugged morphie to name a couple, just my 0,2
