Dilaudid and Lorcet Combination

I just returned from the emergency room where I was given a small IM of Dilaudid along with promethazine (I don't know the dosage - apologies. I'm about 170 lbs, if that helps at all). In the past, the ER doctor has given me a Lorcet to take in addition to the shots. This time he didn't, and it been about three hours since the IM. I am still in great pain and have three 7.5 Lorcet tabs (previously prescribed to me). I have a high tolerance, but would this combination be too much

Since we don't know the dose of the shots, I'd say the safest way would be to take a single tab, wait for the effects, if you're still in pain, take another and so on. With a high opiate tolerance, you should be safe, but I'm no doctor, so to be sure you should maybe call your doc, just to be on the safe side.
