Dilaudid I.V.: How much & how often do you inject a day?

I am in LOVE with Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) and any dedicated Hydro user knows it is useless taken orally as the B/A level is so low, but I.V. injection is a totally different world! Had a Heroin habit 25 years ago and got off it. Well due to being hit by a car, and several surgeries, I was given Dilaudid I.V. in the hospital, and I was off to the races cause never in the 5-6 years I used 'H' (except when with mixed with Cocaine) have I experienced such a rush! And this coming from a Pharm. drug I was baffled! The I.V./Oral ratio BTW is 5:1 meaning the 2 measly mg's they were 'pushing' into my IV (not the useless pump) was so much stronger than when I got out of he hospital with a script of 90, 2mg pills, I took a couple and got NOTHING. This is when my research started, and I began melting them down and injecting them. Since then, I have had the opportunity to try the liquid Dilaudid 'HP' (high potency) stuff reserved for the poor Hospice patients on their last days. This stuff is VERY strong and I would recommend avoiding it! It comes in 10mg/1cc vials, so thinking I do 32mg, and wished I had a 3cc barrel to fit 2-3 in, I'm glad I didn't cause that 1cc rig full almost knocked me out! But I built a tolerance so fast, I went from 4, 2mg pills 5 months ago to now 4, 8mg pills in one whack!
Have read so many different methods/opinions...cook, don't cook, cold shake etc. and tried them all. For me the best way is crush them in a pill crusher to a fine dust (a good $5 investment) add 1 full 1cc syringe, plus 20 units more for the boil, of water...boiling does NOT loose potency IME, I cook them with like a 2-3 second boil, and end up with almost a full syringe after filtering with cotton.
My question is...is there anyone else out there with this high tolerance?
How much do you inject at once? And how often?8o
Again, I use 32mg's at a time, but try to wait 6-8 hours between each...on work nights, I am forced to wait about 10-12 hours so I bring a couple to snort as i tried pre-rigging, and it gelled up and started to solidify after 3-4 hours, so that was a waste. But if I do them too close together I don't get the rush. ALTHOUGH I really do have legit chronic pain issues from 3 major surgeries with a stack of medical records to back it up, but honestly, pain or no pain, I so look forward to that rush! Nothing compares!!

Hi DF, this really isn't suitable discussion for TDS. We have a lot of people in here who are specifically trying to abstain from using opiates and the IV administration method, and your post could be considered quite triggering to some people.

I'm going to move this over to OD, mods, please move it elsewhere if you deem it necessary! :)

Anyway, is there any deeper sense in discussion like "I shoot Dilaudid! Do you? It's fun, isn't it?".

BTW. Congrats on getting back on track after quarter century.

What can I reply? I shot Dilaudid just a few times but I had a longer ride with lab grade hydromorphone. I had a time when I reached 30mg but my overall tolerance made doses of any opioid with huge cross-tolerance with morphine insane. Yes, it has a great rush, way better than heroin. On the other hand the duration of action is very short. Well, if you're looking for an opioid with a superb rush and instant euphoria, that's it along with e.g. dextromoramide that is marvelous. However, nothing beats the steady onset of good old plain morphine. Now, that was an interesting exchange of feelings about it.
 
lol...forgot to mention, in those 25 years off of 'H', never said I was opiate free...lived in Costa Rica for 12 years and for about 6 of them, I would see a Doc for $20, and he would write me a script for 36 ampules of Morphine Sulfate/week. 1.2cc vials, about 5 a day, and yeah, it has a much longer roll than Dilaudid, but virtually no rush at all...just lots of itching! lol
 
to the OP

don't cook those shots man. of course cooking it briefly isn't going to make the active ingredient lose its potency, although it will make the shit that's supposed to be filtered out dissolve into your solution, and then more of that shit's in your veins. there's a reason why your shot gelled up a few hours later, because as it had time to cool down, the stuff that wasn't supposed to dissolve precipitated out.

a mg is a very small amount, and just because there's a lot of pill powder left on your spoon doesn't mean it's hydromorphone that's gonna get you high.

recommendations: get a micron filter, and research on how to use it properly. this will save your veins in the longrun, and with the amount that you're shooting, using a micron filter to filter out a large number of doses will save you a lot of time as well.

and yes there are people on here who inject crazy amount of dilaudid, but talking about one's tolerance compared to another is pointless, and will get you nowhere, so on this forum we kindly ask to leave that out of the discussion.

and props on getting access to the injectable solution of dilaudid. and ya those are ggenerally believed to be much stronger than shooting the exact same amount from pills, so you're lucky you didn't do them all at once lol.
