Opioids Dihydrocodeine

Hi folks. Broke my wrist a few week ago and was giving the above tablets. Was taking 3 at a time for the pain but now not working. If I took 4 is there a chance of a overdose ?

I got a operation and screw put in so pain is always there but not sure about tablets now can someone with experience taking these let me know?

Takin about 90 mg at lunch time and same again about 8 or 9 at night but like I said pain is not for moving now

been looking about forum but cant really see anything that makes me think taking 4 or 5 tablets at once is safe..

If you aren't having trouble keeping your eyes open and breathing then you can take more.

If you're only taking dihydrocodeine, and nothing else, you should probably try adding an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen or naproxen before you increase your opioid dose.

It all depends on tolerance. For is pretty safe just be smart. Taking an NSAID with it will most likely help. If you have 90's you probably don't want to go above 3 or 4 with minimal tolerance. Histamine release is a bitch though. Are they time released? Probably not if they are 90's. Rule of thumb... It's alot easier to add more than to take away too much you know?

Hi mate there 30's. I took 4 and felt ok.

That's 120mg?

I had naproxen but got told to stop it as stop bones healing I was told.

150mg should be ok then? That's 5 of my tabs?

I have a high tolerence I'd say used to take co cods they were 30/500 and used to take 3 of them at a time.

I was given lactulose 2 take as well. I know this is a rather strange comment but people taking this? Do you get blood after you go to the toilet? From back .. Cheers if anyone gets back 2 me.

No offense, but if you're getting high on codeine and DHC you don't have a "high tolerance." Enjoy what you have. If it has no other active ingredient than like others said, the real limiting factor is going to be the uncomfortable histamine release.

And blood in the toilet is NEVER good, however it came out. That in itself is reason to talk to your doctor.
