Dihydrocodeine + Promethazine + cetirizine - Safe combo?

Hello fellow Green/Bluelighters.

I orally ingested 600mg Dihydrocodeine (DHC) crushed into powder about 45 minutes ago, 45 minutes before that i ingested 20mg Promethazine.

The problem is im still itching like a flea ridden cat! Is it safe to take another Antihistamine (Ceterizine) aswell to try to combat the itching?

Not sure if i should have started a new thread for this as my questions are now changing but they have probably already been answered many times before.

Anyway today is a new day and i plan to take the same dose of Dihydrocodeine again, whenever ive used opiates in the past ive always been advised to take the antihistamine 30-60 minutes before the Opiate so to allow it to start working before the Opiate causes the histamine release.

Is this not the case with DHC or Codeine? Or is it just the case with this particular antihistamine (Promethazine)?

Because i also have Diphenhydramine, Chlorphenamine, Cetirizine available to use if these are better suited for use with DHC?

Also does Grapefruit juice potentiate DHC.... and would Amitriptyline be a good/safe potentiator?

Yeah it wasn't a bad experience at all considering the itches, i decided to ride it out and not take the Ceterizine this time, next time il probably take the Ceteirizine instead of the Promethazine or maybe a dose of both as i know the Cetrizine does not have the Anticholinergic properties like Promethazine and other 1st generation antihistamines, which will probably reduce the sedation but hopefully do a better job of stopping the itches.

Also can anybody tell me if it's worth titrating doses of Dihydrocodeine or Codeine? For instance if i take a dose and i feel i need it topping up will it be worth it? Or would i be best to wait until the next day or until i fell the effects have worn off and then just start out at a higher dose?

I dont have a great deal of experience with Codeine, Dihydrocodeine etc i usually use Oxycontin as my Opiate of choice but as im trying to become clean i trying to take slow steps down the Opiate ladder.

wait until the next day at least, and I always thought that you should take the promethazine at least a half hour into the experience not before as it helps to block some of the effects
