The internet mycelium swallows the world
As enzymatic breakdown of the sea of separation
Exposes protrusions of the island minds
We unite upon an ocean floor, the bedrock of our age

Swimming in the mist, poor primordial creatures
The sea, lifted to heaven, catalyzed the growth of our toes
We learned to crawl, to walk to run
And now we drive in cars just for fun

Very intriguing title—reminds me a bit of some of my own poem titles!

as much as i enjoy driving i must concede that it is a definite indicator of the decadence we have come to revel in. nice exposé ;)
