Different type of amphetamines

Here in sweden we usually don't get methamphetamine, only ordinary amphetamine sulfate/hcl.
I've been taking speed on and off for more than 3 years and from time to time i get different 'highs' from the different sources i have.
1 - Theres one type that makes me clearheaded, chatty and quite horny, lasts not that long.
2 - Theres another one that sends me into a bliss of heavy euphoria and makes me stare into the wall for the next couple of hours, not chatty at all - almost the opposite. Keeps me awake for a good number of hours.
3 - And last but not least, theres one with a very 'mild' high - it almost feels like it has a 'serotonin-component' ... very mild and enjoyable, but fundamentally different from all the others. My personal favourite.
Is all this dose/purity related or is there different types of speed?! Which one is what? Any info would be greatly appreciated since it have bothered me for some time now.

i used to think i knew what a real meth high was like...until i got some decent grade meth.
most meth floating around me is truck stop chemists making it in their trucks with nail polish remover and caffiene pills.
it's most likely a purity issue...in other words, different kinds of shit.

I agree with Reverend. I'd wager that you almost always have the same CHEMICAL, it's just differences in purity/potenty and cut that make the drug different for you depending on your dose.

thats what i suspected ... maybe METH isnt that far away ...

I dont know the chemistry of it but I've always felt there's a difference between base and ordinary sulphate. Does anyone know if there actualy know if there is a difference?
