Opioids differences between dope (heroin) and Oxy?

I've used opiates before but I've never used heroin. What's the difference between heroin and oxy? Or are they basically the same since they're opiates? Is it true the high from heroin is basically the same like it is from oxy? I've never IV'd oxy I just would take it orally or sometimes sniff it and I never used a lot of it since I'd keep my tolerance very low and just 5-10mg would have me nodding and itching very intensely.

Onset is about the same. H makes your chest kind of feel like its caving in, while I never felt that on Oxy. Not that its unpleasant or anything, its just a weird feeling. Id say Oxy lasts longer than H but takes longer to peak. As far as safety goes, H is defintely more dangerous, as you cant be sure what it is cut with(which in turn masks the quality of it). Oxy makes me feel that warm and fuzzy opi feeling, but im still very awake and functional. H is more sedative (see: nodding), and both make me forget a lot of what I do when on them.

All in all they do both have the same feeling for me but dope is real inconsistent sometimes. You may get a good bag and its better than oxy, or you could get something cut to pieces and its not better. Whereas oxy will be the same strength every time.

Personally I prefer oxy but dope is easier/cheaper to get so that is why most people switch.
