Difference between Oxy and heroin highs?

I'm also very curious about this, I have snorted ocs, but never tried herion. Its not that I'm afraid, its just its so pricey around here, maybe on a trip to a big city I'll find some cheaper. But my friend who did oc and herion seperately said he thought the h musta been cut to hell becuz the oc high seemed so much stronger and better.

Oxycontin is a nice high. It almost acts as a stimulant in a way. It should make you incredibally talkative and elevate your mood. You're feeling good, but unless you're on a huge dose, you can function more or less.
Heroin is overpowering. Your vision changes. It's hard to keep your eyes open. You feel great but you don't want to do much. On higher doses you will hallucinate altogether. Colors will change. Your field of vision will become tunnled. If you sit against something you'll feel as if your body is sinking below your lungs. You'll also feel like you're sick. You'll be itching to no end, you'll sweat, you'll turn pale. You'll probably puke a lot. It's basically having a lot of fun while having the flu.
I prefer oxy because I like being able to function and I hate throwing up. But heroin definantly feels much better and is WAY stronger than oxy even at low doses.
Also about the friend that said he didn't feel much. Most dime and twenty bags of powdered heroin have very little dope in them unless you're in Baltimore or Philadelphia.
Usually the only time you're going to get strong stuff that's worth the money is if you get black tar or raw. Raw heroin is grey or brown or a mixture. Unless you live in one of the above cities, you usually can't get it unless you're buy at least a half gram of it as a rock that you have to break up yourself. A good starting dose of that is 5-10 mgs if you're going to snort it until you get comfortable with the effects. You want to wait until you taste all of the drip before doing more so you can tell if you're going to get nauseas or not.
Smoking heroin is kind of a waste, too. It works, but it's a little more effective to snort it.
And yes you can find some ultra-refined high grade heroin that is white, but you're going to be paying a lot for it. It's really uncommon to find, as well.
Most of your powdered "heroin" is like 70-90% quanine or talcum powder.

It's a personal thing really... in terms of the pharmacology, they *technically* are not very differn't, but personally I find the Oxycodone provides a better high - cleaner, no nausea whatsoever... same with morphine - I would rather have Oxycodone over morphine, however, morphine is stronger then oxycodone - almost twice as strong..... but for some reason I simply don't care for it as much as Oxy...
To answer yer question - yes, heroin and oxycodone are MUCH THE SAME in effects, but like fine wines and pussy, there are subtle differences and your more experienced coinsures with develop a taste for one over another...

i have never been able to keep my eyes open or been talkative at all while on oxy. it's mostly like someone hit me with a steam roller and then made me feel really good. maybe i'm just snorting too much

for some reason, i nevber really get much of a HIGH from OXY if i SNORT it..i dont know why, but i dont..
i DO get pretty talkative when i take OXY..it makes me feel DREAMY and RELAXED, but not at all TIRED...a very nice HIGH i might add...
i tried HEROIN once, and i snorted it..then again i had taken NUBAIn earlier in the day, so i think that is why i didnt feel much from the H..
yeah, everytime the MEDIA does a report on OXY, the main HEADLINER is "OXY is equivalent to HEROIN"...i have a close friend who has taken HEROIn for 4 years, and i gave him some OXY and he liked it..he said he felt a "cleaner" type buzz from the OXY...

For a long while, the strongest opiate I would try was Oxycodone.
I tried Codeine, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Propoxyphene, etc.
I always thought that heroin and morphine would feel JUST like other opiates, only MUCH stronger.
I was way off base.
When I finally got my hands on liquid morphine, the door was opened to a whole new world.
Yes they are similiar in the sense I felt no pain, I was calm, and there was a lot of euphoria.
But the 'rush', the overall euphoria was so different, like nothing I could explain. It was SO euphoric it gave me a new mental outlook...in fact, Morphine, to me, is a lot like shrooms. My mental aspect on heroin/morphine is so different...I think clearly, I feel in control, it's absolute euphoria.
I can also attest to the visual aspect. Higher doses of strong opiates also give me visuals, sometimes very intense visuals.
Roxanol Intensol comes to mind in this area. I can lay in a dark room after plunging the rig for hours...just lay on the couch and see a whirlwind of rainbows flow across my mind...with a never ending smile on my face and nothing but pure bliss in my mind.
