Difference between good and weak meth......

How do you distinguish good glass from not-so-good and bad glass, by just looking at it and smelling it. What's the deal with wet-meth, rocks/crystals of which are literally wet, and are left to dry up spreded out on a sheet of glossy paper (for easy sliding l8r on)? Any experiences, tips, tricks.......anything on the subject would be appreciated.
 
i've read that oily meth is contains methamphetamine hydriodide as an impurity. it's also possible that it's unevaporated solvent, if it's really fresh.
looking at it: white or clear, not brown, provided the white isn't cut
smell: i've actually heard it shouldn't have a smell, but the crackheads i know universally believe that a strong smell is a good thing. likewise, a short, sharp burn. yes, these people can tell things like that.
 
It depends on if you are talking about crystal or crank. If it is crystal then white is what you are looking for. The best crank I ever had was very pale pink. Yes it does have a quick burn when you snort it. The smell has varied, but it always tastes like shit not matter if you swallow it, or it is just dripping down the back of your throat. But it is worth it IMO.
 
If you're in to smoking...load just a little and put fire to it. Watch to see how it melts down and what it does whe you remove the heat. If it stays clear after being melted and forms nice clear crystalized "snow flakes" when it cools-it's probably pretty pure. You can also tell by the flavor and smell of the smoke, but that takes a little practice.

Well, I asked how can u tell by just looking/smelling, not railing it or smoking it. In most cases white=pure, but some white meth that I had was water-based, and if you ever got hooked-up with water-based meth and you are a smoker, you know how fucked up it is; put the whole 20 in the pipe and watch it evaporate in 2-3 hits......literally! Also there were some times when one of my friends would get yellow/orange in color meth, and that shit would be like one of the strongest. Yes I have heard that nosmell=good shit, and then I heard vinegar/kerosine smell=good shit, so which one is it? Still waiting an answer from PhreeX........
 
In a perfect world, and in some parts of Colorado, methamphetamine is a white/clear powder with a somewhat salty taste... in the rest of the world, it could be anything from green to brown, taste like ANYTHING from starting fluid to cat piss ..
The best way to test is to put a little on a piece of foil, apply a flame to the foil, and there shouldn't be much nasty resin left - OF COURSE you inhale the smoke too .. so based upon the rush you get, and the amount of black shit left on foil, that tells you how good it is...
