Difference between European Lsd and American?

I have heard that the European acid is usually more potent than american acid, i remember seeing posts about people etaing up to ten hits and still not get "fucked up".
The acid i get is around 200 mikes ive been told, of course that could just be total bullshit since i doubt my little dealer friends actually has a clue as to the strenght of the blotter.
So, why would the european lsd be stronger?

well, i might have to explain what i meant a bit more, i didnt mean that the acid was stronger in europe, just that there were more of it in the blotters...

If there was more of it in the blotters, then it would be stronger, right?
As mentioned above, your dealer has absolutely no was of telling how many micrograms are in his hits of acid.
According to all the reports and things I've read in my time, (I wasn't around back in the 60's to test this theory) the acid of today is quite a bit less potent. 200 mcgs in a single hit would have been possible 30 or 40 years ago, but today you'll find that there is usually much less. The articles claim that a typical hit today has about 20 mcgs, but that has to be bullshit as one hit wouldn't do anything.
I believe that most of the acid that you will see over in Europe is made here in the U.S. LSD is by far one of the most difficult chemicals to synthesize and the labs that do produce it focus solely on that drug and make lots of it.
I don't know about today, LSD could be made anywhere. But for several decades, almost all of it was made around the San Francisco bay area. Hope I answered your question.

DEA reports indicate that we will be seeing a LOT MORE LSD comming from Russia... still, there isn't an answer for that question - rergardless of the source, if someone is more generous in applying it to the paper, it will be "better"...

They busted a huge san fransisco operation just a month or two ago. But yeah it is difficult to produce, and the chemists live in nortern cali, oregon, and Canada. Basically anywhere that in the middle of the boondocks.

LSD-25 isLSD-25. Seriously, they have the exact same chemical structure. Mushrooms are fungi. Different mushrooms have different concentrations of psilocybin, psilocyn, etc.
But the main thing that changes the quality of the trip is that the set and setting change.

A possible reason for the acid being less diluted in europe is that there seems to be less demand for it over here than in the states. I dont know whether this is true for all of europe but here in the UK acid is extremly difficult to get hold of becuase the demand is simply not there. If you can find it then it is extremly cheap (£1.50 a blotter). If there is less demand for a subtance dealers are likly to make the concentrations more potent so as to attract the few customers there are. I would suggest that this lessened demand in the uk may have something to do with the relativly cheap price of X in this country compaired to in the US.
By no means what I'm saying is gospel...its simply a theory to maybe explain what you have observed.

All I know is that the main suppliers for the LA area (I met them once, they had shitloads of lsd crystal being mixed into jam jars and kiddie buckets full of water, millions of hits), and about a month after I was busted they got raided and sent to the big house (no I had nothing to do with it). After that all their underlings told me that the cops raided both their operation and some other huge one that was a backup for socal, and it basically destroyed the west coast supply. Now there are reminents of their stuff floating around in SF and other places at astronomical prices (150 bux a sheet, 200 bux for a diluted vial) if you're lucky enough to find it. Now there are shrooms everywhere. I'd give it another month or two before new stuff becomes available.

Eoropean LSD usually talks with a weird accent ...

Isnt alot of the European lsd manufactured in Holland or the eastern parts of Europe?
It doesnt really make sense to me that america would be the only one doing the manufacturing.

OK, so many people on this board (OK 4 that i remember) have talked about being there when the Acid was made or Dipped (is there a diff? wouldnt the makers dip it themselves?) Either thats not true or there are more people making it than everyone claims.
So my Question is this - What are the materials/chems that are almost impossible to get that make it so hard to synthasize?
And since people make millions of hits, what do they sell them to people for and in what format usually (Blotter/liquid/crystals/gels)
Also, as someone else was saying before - since all LSD is LSD-25 wouldnt it all be essentially the same, besides being stronger or more dilluted than one batch?
And last side note - If anyone's read William S. Burroughs "Naked Lunch" - He mentions a handful of drugs i havnt heard about (the book was written in the 40s!) and among them is LSD-50, anyone else ever heard of this? I read somewhere else before that theres another form of Acid that is more "pure" but less stable....
THankx a lot

The difficulty and associated risk with the synthesis of LSD means that it simply isn't work the while for the people who make it in quantities such as millions of hits, to dip them and sell them on in paper of jelly form. They'd be selling this stuff still in crystal form, probably in grams or more. Slowly it would filter down, to liquid, then paper/jellies etc. Obviously the price payed for hit would increase the further down the chain it gets.

There are plenty of hallucinogens which are active in similar quantities to lsd. You never know.

This is a fucking incredible story...
http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/v01/n1031/a08.html
Busted for making LSD, he was deputy director of UCLA's Drug Policy Research Program - much of his profits from the LSD manufacture went to fund his program... he would dine with Shuglin on a regular basis and had many friends in the DEA too... definitly a story to read..
Oh yeah, he got life + 5 years, he will probably die in jail..

Ehh... Tihkal mentions a few but you can look that up yourself.
Atropine and Scopolamine (sp?) are active in the lower mcg (100).
There are a handfull of others. Even a few that are more potent than LSD. The research is out there you just need to find it on your own.
People talk a little about 'ALD-52' but I'm not sure what the deal is with that.
