Dieting with Drugs

This is my first post - I have been readig these forums for a while but thought I'd post on this thread.
Coolie High - I speak from experience. I lost over 35 kgs in 6 months (~ 80 pounds) about 6 years ago and I didn't go hungry either. It changed my life. I have maintained my weight and I now don't even have to worry too much about what I eat.
I have to start by asking you a question: Do you want to loose weight and then put it back on the day you stop drugs or do you want to loose weight and transform your metabolism for life?
I hope you chose the second option as that is what I will write about.
You will have to change your eating habbits though you wont starve.
You will have to do some exercise though you'll be beaming with hapiness and it eventually wont be a chore.
Sure you can take drugs to speed the process up. Speed and E's are by far more effective than Coke simply because they raise your heart rate and supress your appetite.
Here goes...I'll elaborate more...
==================================
1. Changing your foods.
Food is what made you fat in the first place, unless you have something wrong with your glands or some other genetic desposition. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT COUNTING CALORIES!!! That is rubbish and you'll fail to complete your diet simply because you'll be hungry all the time. Buy a fat-counter book (they are tiny and cheap)and study it. You'll soon workout that most fast foods are packed with fat. Our bodies were never designed for this sort of fat intake, certanily not all the unnatural fats we come accross nowdays. If you want to lose weight fast, limit yourself to 40 - 50 grams of fat per day. Yes a Burger and fries at McDonalds will bring you to that limit in one meal (about 20+ grams for a burger and another 20 for fries). Problem here is that you have to eat at least 3 meals a day and you'll go over the recommended fat intake.
Watch out for Dairy products (no butter on sandwiches, use lite-milk etc), nuts, chocalate, Potato Crisps, ANYTHING FRIED!!...basically anything with fat in it.
This can be hard in teh western world...i know.
You dont need to be hungry!! I recommend natural foods that aren't fatty including carbohydrates such as breads and pastas etc. They can really fill you up if you want. Don't forget veges and limit yourself to one serve of meat (not two or three steaks for dinner). If youre hungry inbetween meals, eat toasts or anything that isn't fatty (anything but junk). Don't worry what other diets say about the calories in carbos etc.
Have a can of Coca-Cola if you like...its fat free. Sugar doesn't store like fat does, it burns pretty much soon after you've downed it. I must stress though to limit your sweets if you want to be able burn fat. Try to limit yourself to one can of soft drink a day in the first few months.
REWARD YOURSELF ONCE A WEEK. Eat what you are really dying to eat such as Maccas, KFC, Deep fried lard - whatever tickles your fancy. You will probably notice that you wont feel too good after that meal. This is when the magic begins. Your body is getting used to natural foods and isn't use to a rich diet. With time you'll find yourself yearning more and more for the fat free diet and your quantities will drop naturally. A rich diet makes you hungry!!!
2. Exercise.
I know you probably don't want to heae this but this is essential if you want a change for life!! and is the most effective way to lose weight and keep it off(trust me). It will reward you in so many different ways and will eventually make you beam naturally with happiness.
Cardio. Start off slow as you are unfit. The secret here is the amount of time you workout. If you want results, exercise for AT LEAST 30 mins about 3 - 4 times a week. YOur body doesn't dealth into your fat stores til after you have exercised for approximately 20 mins. It will be hard and discouraging at the start but willl get so much easier and even enjoyable. Walk, cycle, anything that gets the heart pumping and gets you breathing harder which you can sustain for that time. As you'll start to shed the weight off, try to exert yourself more. You'll definately be able to notice that you are getting fitter. I went from riding an exercise bike at home and was eventually walking and then running. You'll be amazed as to how quickly you can lose weight once you are in a regular exercise regime.
Eventually, the active lifestyle will reprogram your metabolic rate to that of a thin person and you'll have to worry less and less about what you eat cos your body is burning heaps of energy whilst idling. You'll be able to eat Junk more often (not everyday), cut down your exercise and not gain weight....though this isn't recommended until you've reached your goal weight, which isnt a weight, its how you look in the mirror.
This exercising will get a lot easier and you may even find yourself getting pleasure from it (hopefully get a lil addicted) because of all the endorphins pumping through your body. I have read countless posts on Bluelight where ppl are so depressed with life. Many of them can be cured with regular exercise. Remember that we are mammals and were designed to hunt and gather on foot. Not designed to drive to work and sit in an office all day - we need to compensate for this.
3. Drugs.
Sure they will speed the process up. I only started to get into E's and a bit of speed towards the end of my weight lost and yes it does speed the process by raising your heart-rate and supressing your appetite combined with dancing. However drugs cannot be used alone for your body transformation as the day you stop, you will start to put the weight back on. You would have achieved nothing. Ask your doctor for weight lost pills (I have heard they feel a lil like speed). I'm sure he will tell you to include exercise and a natural food regime. Beware - Drugs are addictive.
<><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
Conclusion:
My proposal does work and you wont have to go hungry either. You'll just have to learn what is healthy to eat and get off your arse a bit. If you have the determination to really want to transform yourself for the better than have the courage to go through with it. It will get easier and easier as the weeks past...i promise.
You'll be walking down the street one day and notice girls starting to check you out when perhaps maybe this didnt really happen before. Heaps of little things like this will tell you that it was worth persevering with this lifestyle change.
If you read this far Coolie High and want to lose weight then consider what i have said...it will change your life for the better.
:)

I get tired of hearing this over and over again, in respect ot crash diets, and using drugs for weight loss. It doesnt happen to everyone. I kept mine off for yrs, and only got it back after some prescription medication put about 20 lbs on me. And at that point even with phentermine, a legal script, still didnt lose a pound. I swear by meth, but that it just my humble opinion :) I am just gonna copy from a thread i just wrote in about same topic....
I beg to differ from most of the opinions here. When I first started to use yrs ago, for recreational use, i used a lot and didn't bother trying to restrict any. Then yrs later at a time when i was dating somemone who was a heavy user, I decided to use enough to get thin again, since i had it at my disposal. (i had about 20 lbs i wanted to lose from the birth of my son a yr before) I didn't have any problems using more than I needed, lost weight, worked well with my job (sales, so it helped a lot), and quit a few months later without any problems. But I am the type who can use without abuse of any drug, within reason of course, i wouldnt smoke crack due to the high addiction potential. *You really just need to decide for yourself if you are responsible enough to use it properly*. Find the right dose and stay with it. I didn't snort it either, would swallow..I dont know if it was as effective, but I think psychologically it made me feel more like I was medicating myself as opposed to "doing drugs" again. And it hurt my nose anyway from so much use yrs before.I am 7 months pregnant, and have gained a lot with this babe, and would love to use it again, but I don't know if i have my hubby convinced yet. He said "sure, if i could do it too"...but it is so addictive i wont let him!!
As for fairy nymphs "youll just gain it back again, you need to excercise and diet properly"
well that is a given, it isn't about not being able to lose it if you work hard enough, but it makes it easier, and faster. I have a high school reunion that I am working for and natural weight loss just wont cut it! maintaining a healthy weight is a lot easier than trying to lose it. Me personally, I hate working out when i am fat but enjoy it when I am thin. I have more energy and desire and motivation when i look good.. I guess bc I am the type who gets easily discouraged. anyway, good luck with your weight loss. It is such a frustrating problem. I gained a lot at one time in my life and havent been able to lose it since. It is very depressing and really can mess with all parts of your life. It did me, I am so unhappy when fat

Hi coolie high.
I am in a very similar situation to sallycow. I was using speed about 3 times a week and going clubbing 2 nights a week. I danced all night, and the day after the speed I had no appetite.
I did this for about 2 months and lost 15 kilos. Once I stopped partying so hard, I cut heaps of processed sugar out of my diet and I have stayed at the same weight (62-64 kg) for a year and a half.
I don't think this was a healthy way of losing weight, but I will leave the moral stuff up to you.
Good luck mate!

Great thread and some great responses
I am pretty much in the same situation only I’m about 5 inches taller... I have also thought about taking the drug route.. But I see it as a downward spiral
Robot Features, I found your post to be quite inspiring. Your approach to weight loss is one I am willing to embrace,... I have even printed it out and it’s going on my wall (I need motivation and something to put me off nailing a Big Mac :D )
I hope this thread has helped coolie high as much as it’s helped me, thanks to everyone that’s posted :D
Good luck Coolie mate :D

I read posts like these ones when I was still using regularly, and I was convinced that I would get fat as soon as I stopped. This fear kept me using longer than I needed to. And it turned out to be totally unfounded. I realize a lot of people gain wait back, but it isn't unavoidable.
I lost 20 lbs and have kept it off. It's amazing how much more energy I had after dropping an extra 20 lbs. And I felt so much better about myself, it was an eye opener to see how much brain space was wasted obsessing on fat.
For me it was a lot easier to start from thin and try to stay that way, than it was to try and lose weight slowly, with no guarantees that I would even be able to. I have plenty of friends who are very healthy eaters and work out religiously and still are over weight. So what if I was just getting older and my body was changing? But now that I know I can be back to the weight I was 10 years ago, and I see how much happier I am, it is easier to keep off.
Plus speed helped me lose interest in alcohol. That stuff will pack the pounds on! So if you know what made you big in the first place, stay away from it once you lose the weight.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble. My whole point is just for people who do speed to lose weight, don't think you have to keep doing it in order to keep the weight off. It's an easy trap to fall into. (Oh, and same thing about being tired, I was afraid I would be tired and depressed for weeks, as I've read is the case for some people, but it was maybe only a week or so.)

I was the same way. More or less i was the "chubby" girl that could be a model if i dropped the weight. As i have been told hundreds of times by ppl. If they only knew that hurt more than it was a compliment. I've been a drug user since 13, and at 22 i found "crank" or methamphetamine. I smoked everyday. I could go through a ball in two days. I lost 14 lbs in one week. I dropped the weight so quick (65 lbs) i was beside myself. I got a b/f, guys were asking for my number and everything that could possibly make me feel good about myself happened. Then i decided to take a break. And within a month i gained 20 lbs back. And eventually all came back plus 15 extra. Plus i spent over $1200 a month to support my habit. Therefore im poor right now and dont think i'll ever get back on my feet.
Moral of the story is, its a quick fix but it will come back with a vengeance. And when it does, you can almost guarantee you'll be dealing with depression too. As i have been dealing with it for a year now.
I've lost some of the weight now by excercising everyday. That is the only way.
Drugs only give you temporary happiness. Take it from me, its not worth it.
Oh, and by the way, i am still using, and when i am not, im at home laying in bed, depressed, and hating life. I lost my spunk, and the only way i can get off my ass is by meth. Thats pretty damn sad if you ask me. Also, the weight does'nt just "come off" like it used to. Actually, it doesnt really at all anymore for me.

dont be so ignorant to give yourself an addiction like cocaine or even amphetamines just to lose weight. theres better and more effective ways. i suggest you go to http://www.bodybuilding.com and start reading up. plenty of info in the articles section and the huge message board. Proper diet, excersize, and as far as drugs are concerned possible Ephedra or the most effective and hardcore fat burner available, CLEN. You can get Liquid Clen from http://www.liquidresearch.com but i advise you to please do lots of research before you go putting foreign substances in your body. Ive got a friend who lost 70lbs recently, it is possible ! Dont do the YAK!

go to the gym and get a personal trainer. get a routine together. drug + managed weightloss = rocky road
also, after exercise you feel AWSOME!

i did it

i used these pills called fat-n-emy and a bottle of metabolife and ive kept off the weight for a while. but when it comes time to keep off the weigt u gotta learn a healthy lifestyle or they will just come back. believe me i love foods that suck for you but this is the 21st century we got morning star and bocaburgers its all healthy and tofu and shit. check it out you can do it.

p.s. and yes i forgot about that, dont get yourself to an addictive EXPENSIVE** drug to lose weight. i thought that would be common sense. metabolife and diet pills are cheap as hell or just get something perscribed by a doctor. but coke is not a good appetite supressor, its really short acting, and meth if you wanna fuck ure life up fuck it. if anything try adderall itll be addictive but its like a buck a pill

my ex-buddy ted is a cokehead and lost at least 80 pounds and he was origionally around 240-260 - now he just looks like a skinny ass coke feind though - so i'd recommend hard work and dedication. I'm also a 'large' guy 6"1 250-260 but I still work out 4x weekly weight lifing and cardio and have seen steady weight loss and strength gain. After the first 4 weeks or so you just begin to feel more powerful and more alive. Leave the drugs at home and do it the old fashioned way - disiplin (sp?) is the key to happieness.

Amphetamines work wonders for weight loss but are definately not recommeded due to the mental and psychological side effects. Diet and exercise is the key.

Adder

2) I heard about some kind of speed that can be legally prescribed by a doctor for weight loss. Do any of you know how it would compare to coke or meth? Also, how willing are doctors to prescribe it?

--Yeah, probably Phentermine or Meridia etc...as I understand it, most Dr.'s will only prescribe amphetamines for "off-label" use in cases of SEVERE obesity.

3) Would it be possible for me to use these things on a regular basis w/ out developing an addiction I can't beat?

--I don't know about the so-called "diet" pills like Phentermine, Bonitril, and so on...as for Adderall &/or amphetamines, the likelihood for addiction is very high.

4) How often would I have to use these things for for them to significantly effect weight loss?

--Probably every day.

5) In what amounts?

--Probably not much at first, but tolerance rapidly develops. Soon you'll feel the need to take more & more, and then you've landed yourself in the worst place a drug can take you: you feel shitty (& fat) even on a large dose of them, and you feel shitty (& fat) without them.

I have been on Adderall for about a year now for ADD. 2 years ago I had Anorexia, and was not on a single Rx. I definitely lost the most weight then. Actually, 2x in my life I have lost about 40 pds. within a short time period, and neither time was I on a prescription for anything, let alone weight loss. I did, however, indulge in Metabolife/Dexatrim etc. during some of the time I was Ana. I only dropped a bit in weight when I first started the Adderall, because it makes you RAVENOUS by evening. I remember often times I'd end up bingeing in the evening (partly due to Ambien use, though). I was constantly moving though as I worked with little tykes all day. Good luck, and take care of yourself.

Three letters, DNP. This will work.

You could also try T3 along with some low-dose testosterone propionate and an anti-armotase, like arimidex.

The easiest option is to get liquid clenbuterol from [edit]No Sources - Flex[/edit] and do a few short cycles of this with brief breaks in between.

N.B. Not, to blow my own whistle, but I am a competitive bodybuilder with A LOT of experience of cutting bodyfat.

Of course, diet and exercise are the two most important things. You shouldn't consider drugs until you sort this out.

Don't follow the atkins diet - you will lose muscle glycogen and hence muscle (and gain the fat back plus some extra when you eat any carbs). Overall this is a bad diet IMO.

The Atkins diet is just as bad as any diet / CNS stimulant drug. If you eat bread AT ALL on Atkins your body will put it right on your gut. Also the Atkins diet gives you horrible breath.

Best bet.. get on an ADD amphetamine or Ritalin (in low doses) eat right and less and work out. Take a month break on the drugs after a year and see if you are having problems. I find Ritalin to have far less tolerance then the amphetamines.

New Shaman...Questions!

I have been on Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) for over a year for ADHD and it seems to be pooping-out at what I consider to be quite a high dose. You noted less tolerance with Ritalin than the amphetamines...the possibility on my going on Ritalin has been discussed with my dr. if the Adderall tolerance continues...I am worried that if I do go on Ritalin, it won't help like the Adderall did at first (and still sometimes does) for my ADHD...Do you find any diff. in focus between Ritalin and amphetamines?? Also, which of the 2 do you think has more of an appetite-suppressing effect?? Thanks!

How can one lose weight effectively by using meth because I have a friend who uses meth to lose weight and I want to make sure she's not letting it control her life. Do you think smoking a bowl (only 1) at the beggining of the day, everyday would be effective in weight loss or will it pose a problem?

Try the Atkins diet. You can eat as much as you want. The weight falls off!

Any diet that doesn't include Pizza is worthless.

If you have ADHD then pretty much all the medication your will get (that works) will drop you to bones if your not careful.

Your best bet is to get a personal trainer. People always looking for the quick fix easy way..

You can get that fat sucked right on out of you to. :) *SHHRRRHHHHHHRRHH*

I am a firm believer that all daily Meth users are doomed.
