Did you get stoned the first time you smoked?

My brother is trying to convince me its a biological thing, that the cannabinoids cant bind or something your first time, but I think he just made that up. I didn't get high the first time, but I attribute that to not knowing how to inhale. My second time, I figured out that if you breathe in air after your hit, the smoke goes deeper lol (inhaling) and sure enough I got high. Most people I've smoked with have had similar experiences. So did any of you BLers get high the first time you ever smoked weed?
 
omg that question takes me back to my first time!,it was truly a crazy trip, literally! I tripped for an hour, kind of like doing mushrooms.
 
i didn't feel high but I was already drunk when i had my first few hits, although it was a very very memorable and enjoyable night so perhaps i did get high

i think it takes most people a few times to get high because you dont know what if feels like to be high and also perhaps the receptors theory as well (but that could be a half-baked idea i picked up from grasscity) plus the inhalation problem

anyway yeh the first time i had a whole joint to myself was like a fucked up mushroom trip + being paralyzed + vomiting for ages

seriously, I know quoting Half Baked is kind of cliche at this point but

I've heard people say you don't get high the first time you smoke. Not me. No-o, not us. WE were really, REALLY high. We was to' up!
 
No, I did not. My friend whom I was smoking with claimed to have felt it though. It was her first time as well. I'm not sure whether or not she actually felt it or if she psyched herself up for it because we tried smoking it through a coke can (lol) outside and neither of us were blowing out much smoke. We didn't cough, either and neither of us were smokers.

Because my "first time" was so easy and I didn't feel anything, I went harder than I should have my second time. I smoked out of a glass pipe and took three fat hits--coughing and eyes watering. Needless to say, I was effffffed uuuuuup. 8o
 
My first time was with some more experienced friends and I tried really hard to feel high (because that's what's supposed to happen after all), but all I got was a slightly irritated throat. It was also my first time smoking, so I blame it on that. It actually took me quite a while to get my smoking skills to a sufficient level.
The first time I did get high was on some baked goodies and it may have been the best high I've ever had; at least the most memorable one.
 
Yeah I got stoned as hell and was laughing my ass off, from two pulls of a joint. I was 12 years old, doing my house chores, and couldn't manage to do the dishes without dropping plates all over the floor. I got seriously messed up lol
 
I didn't get stoned until my second time smoking. First time was a joint with a buddy and I don't think I inhaled it properly but I didn't feel different at all.

Second time I took only like a hit or two off a bowl and was ripped! I'll never forget it hah.
 
I got stoned as fuck! I was already drunk and got completely detached from like 2 hits out a glass pipe. Remember it like today :) felt completely spaced out, sat on a bed, then I puked and fell asleep lol xd. After sleeping like 6 hours I was still stoned though! :D
 
I took one hit the first time I ever smoked since I had no idea what to expect, I noticed a slight change in my perception and got more giggly but nothing substantial. The second time on the other hand blasted me off like a rocket to the moon %)
 
i didn't get stoned.

i got fucking blasted. and it was glorious. and trippy. thought i was in slow motion.
 
I got really euphoric the first 5-10 minutes, then I got really high, saying "woa" as we passed cars (me sitting in the back of the car)
Ate a burger, sat in the back on the way home... When the car parked I opened the door and instantly puked the whole thing.. smelled like shit
After that I closed the door, stared at the back of the front seat and didnt speak to anyone for like 30 minutes. Felt like I was braindead, totally tripped out.
I just could not answer my friends calling my name, even tho I could hear it clearly, they were in the car lol

the first times smokin weed is seriously trippy stuff, and for some, too much too handle.. Weed is awesome

In a sense you could say I didn't get "high", because I got more like "totally fucked up". You have to smoke for a little while to be able to not go to space and just chill out
 
3rd times a charm with me. Smoked a joint with my brother outside, baked a pizza, and laughed my ass off for hours. You never forget your first high!
