I had the hardest time figuring out how to "smoke correctly". The first time I ever smoked weed I took one hit of dank out of a decent bowl. I felt nothing. The next half a dozen times I shared a bowl with a buddy and still felt nothing while he was high as hell. Then I even shared a blunt with that person a couple hours later. Keep in mind this was all good bud, no schwag or mids. I was disappointed. Everyone made smoking look so fun. Well, I gave up for a few weeks and said fuck it. I'll stick to my booze (this was before I started dabbling with opiates). Then one day I was drunk and decided to buy just a simple dime bag. I smoked it out of an apple (hey, I was only 15 cut me some slack lol). That night changed my life. It was the first time I ever got "high". In short - it took me about 10-12 times of smoking DANK weed until I ever felt its effects. I think it all has to do with smoking it properly. You don't smoke weed like you smoke a cigarette or a cigar, which is what I was doing. It's hard to describe I guess, but there's a subtlety about smoking weed that cannot be taught but only learned through trial and error. So for anyone having trouble not getting high your first, second, third, eighth, twelfth time smoking weed just keep trying. You'll eventually get it and you'll be glad you hung in. My advice though for those people is to NOT pay for any weed until you finally feel a high from being smoked out by someone else. Otherwise IMO you're just wasting money.
