Did man land on the moon or NOT!?

Irrelevant really, I'm interested in whats potentially happening now with direct effects on the masses.

I don't like a lot of what I read when it comes to WMDs, David kelly, 9/11 etc.

I'm interested in many theories and watch a lot of stuff. I certainly believe some are plausible if not likely :/ "Tin foil hat on*

Some are far more believable than others, and there are so many. I just want to know the truth so like to research things I hear about to reach a conclusion. Sure as hell not going to get the total truth about everything from the news or government. We didn't need Snowden or CIA torture to tell us there are secrets being kept from the public.

I made this when I was bored which took ages and has no real meaning, just a collection of conspiracy related symbols and quotes which refer to various ones.

It's a big file so I won't embed it. http://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2014/12/10/boxed-in.png

I know its bad form to comment on a thread i havnt read but when i saw the title of this i decided to make an exception. Im not going to waste anyones time debating this or trying to debunk the fucktard conspiracy theories that suggest it was all a hoax. I have a keen interest in physics and cosmology and i cant understate how angry i get whenever this 40 year old dogshit gets brought up.

Hate it, hate it hate it. Would never have been brought up for discussion if it wasnt for Capricorn One. Get real world, ones a sci fi film, the others the greatest scientific, engineering and exploratory project the human race has (and probably ever will) undertake.

Some things need debating. Facts dont

im suggesting - and have suggested none of your.......suggestions, vurtual. shambles' bizarre obsession with religion has perhaps given you that idea, when before his clumsy entry into the thread - aggressive as usual - ive been merely pointing out the various anomalies revolving around the subject and for which remain cause for further investigation. to invoke aliens or god when seeking to explain a billion year differential between rocks is somewhat overkill, but again im only saying what needs clarification and correcting shambles' misapprehensions.. though now he has resorted to name calling we can take that as signal of my continued natural dominance and return to the pleasant discussion we were enjoying before shambles decided to bellyflop into it. hopefully he will do his fucking job and not derail the topic any further with his uncontrollable dawkins rage. tis unsightly

To be honest, BHM, I got the distinct impression that you were hinting at the supernatural with the Asimov quote, which (if googled) coincidentally leads straight to occult / conspiracy websites.

Just sayin'...

my sincerest apologies, however i purposefully avoided drawing conclusions for this exact reason. though as i mentioned, asimov was an accomplished astronomer independent of his science fiction mainstay, the quote included was his opinion on the moon, cant blame the guy for consequent use thereof in less than empirical or full on metaphysical fields of research

Do you see how the usage of that quote in particular could possibly lead others to believe you were postulating some kind of supernatural origin of the universe though?

Fair enough - that's how i read it first, but it was the 'atheistic bile' comment about shambles that made me think i'd misread you and it was religious-based. i didn't spot any atheism or bile in shambles' post tbh - out of interest, do you not like atheism because you're a theist/deist? Myself i'm agnostic (even about being agnostic), edging into zen paradoxism (ie all versions are true and false) (the have your cake and eat it cosmology (like my politics ("be realistic demand the impossible!"))

uh.. only if they didnt read the paragraph directly above it, indicating my continued use of the scientific paradigm

being a sci-fi nerd youll be aware of asimov's genuine proficiency in astronomy independent of bookwriting...

"there is no reason why the moon and the sun should fit so well.

It is the sheerest of coincidences, and only the Earth is among all the planets blessed in this fashion"

..so it would seem asimov too understands the mystery that still shrouds this particular subject

and the one that followed.. again, attributing it to mystery alone - mystery in the cosmological sense, of which there are a surprising multitude, actually.. but thats a whole new derailment for a whole new thread

no, i am agnostic for the most part, dont presume to know unlike the only mensa in the village, the angriest nice guy alive, squadron leader shambles. the bile stuff goes back, and is usually aimed at raas, derailing subjects and religiously targeting the poor fella as he does so. search for yourself

..guess i just believe you got to call out bullying when you see it, is all. to make a better place, yknow.. for us all

one concerned member, trying my best to do the right thing lord's will
..amen

Fairy muff (though maybe turn t' other cheek/love your enemy would be a better example of the lord's will ;))

(and i think we're off topic enough now (not much more to be said on moon landings) - you might as well talk about those space mysteries...)

Oh man...

I've lost the heart for forum debates. I just can't sift through all the posts and take it all in any more. I just don't care. It's awful...

is Shambles moaning about Christians again? Fucksake man, I bought u some woolly socks for your birthday and now this. Don't you feel the love and sacrifice? as I clothe the needy this Christmas.... all you do is complain!

I suspect corrupt Catholic priests and their notorious misdemeanours towards young, chubby choir boys...

hahahahhaha

My favourite part of this thread. Ello Felix!

Bloody hell. Hello Mr M and how's tricks? Last saw you in Newcastle a lifetime ago. Hope you're doing alright and maybe I'll catch up with you in a more on-topic thread elsewhere. (Don't want to bore the others.) :D
